FRANKFORT, IL, February 02, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jarrell J. Williams has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Williams has established a distinguished career as the founder and chief executive officer of the Student Athletics Foundation, a role he has held since 2017. Over the past eight years, he has demonstrated exceptional leadership by managing a travel softball team, communicating with parents, setting up practices, coaching within the organization and overseeing all financial and tax matters. Under his guidance, the program has experienced remarkable year-over-year growth, expanding from 16 girls in its inaugural year to 50 participants.
Mr. Williams is particularly proud of maintaining a 100 percent graduation rate among program members, ensuring that every girl who aspired to play college softball achieved her goal—either by advancing to collegiate athletics or graduating after completing the program. His commitment to equitable development is evident in his management of multiple teams, guaranteeing that all participants receive equal value as they progress.
In addition to his work with the Student Athletics Foundation, Mr. Williams serves as a high school business education teacher. He previously held the role of managing partner and operations director at J&W Worldwide Transit LLC from 2022 to 2024, where he was responsible for overseeing daily operations and strategic planning. Overlapping with his role, he worked as a client services manager at Transports Global for one year, focusing on client relations and service delivery.
From 2021 to 2022, Mr. Williams contributed as capital improvement and special projects manager at Oak Park Residence Corporation, where he managed large-scale projects and improvements for residential communities. His earlier experience includes serving as assistant manager of office management at Cintas from 2018 to 2020 and as an account manager at Kellogg Company between 2015 and 2017.
Mr. Williams's academic background has been instrumental in shaping his professional journey. He earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of St. Francis in Joliet in 2018 and completed a Bachelor of Science in human development and psychological services at Northwestern University in Evanston in 2015.
Mr. Williams was a student-athlete and football player at Northwestern University while planning to pursue medicine. During his sophomore year in 2012, he recognized that this career did not align with his interests. After initially pursuing a pre-med track, he transitioned to psychology, a decision that sparked a lasting passion for helping others—particularly young athletes. This commitment to supporting the development and well-being of youth in sports has remained a central focus of his work ever since.
Furthering his expertise, Mr. Williams has obtained certificates in assets in accounting, financial statement analysis, liabilities and equity in accounting and bookkeeping basics from Intuit. He has also completed certificates in project planning and project initiation from Google, foundation of data analytics and foundation of project management, as well as concussion education and youth certification from USA Football in 2020. He holds U.S. Center for SafeSport certification and earned Lean Six Sigma Green Belt certification from Cintas.
Beyond his formal training, Mr. Williams credits his mother—a single parent who worked tirelessly throughout his childhood—as his greatest inspiration. Witnessing her dedication instilled a strong work ethic and sense of purpose that continues to drive him today. As a former student-athlete and football player at Northwestern University, he experienced firsthand the challenges faced by young athletes navigating transitions and limited resources. This realization motivated him to enter the nonprofit sector to create pathways for student-athletes aspiring to compete at higher levels. His program emphasizes comprehensive training—mentally, physically and emotionally—to prepare participants not only for collegiate success but also for excellence beyond sports.
Mr. Williams's civic engagement is extensive. Since 2017, he has served as founder of the Student Athletics Foundation and co-founder and president of Royals Elite Athletics, organizations dedicated to supporting youth athletes' development on and off the field. In 2024, he contributed as an assistant football coach specializing in defensive backs and wide receivers at Chicago Christian Schools. He was the girls' track and field head coach at Munster High School during the 2022 to 2023 academic year and an assistant football coach at H. L. Richards High School in 2018. Earlier in his career, he volunteered with Uplifting Athletes from 2012 to 2014.
Mr. Williams's achievements have been recognized through several awards, including the Illinois Two-A State Championship from the Illinois High School Association, coach of the year by the Northwest Crossroads Conference and outstanding volunteer award from the City of Evanston. He was also honored with the academic all-Big Ten honors from the Big Ten Conference.
Furthermore, he has contributed as a guest speaker for Boys Hope Girls Hope International between 2014 and 2015 and for Chicago Juvenile Detention Center from 2012 to 2014.
Demonstrating innovation within sports media, Mr. Williams is currently working on a documentary titled Beyond the Bases, set for release in the fall of 2026. The film aims to be the first of its kind by focusing on softball while highlighting women's and youth experiences—an area often overlooked by traditional sports documentaries that typically center on men or high school boys' athletics.
In his personal life, Mr. Williams enjoys writing poetry and spending time with his family. In the upcoming years, he is dedicated to raising awareness about youth sports, emphasizing their impact on young people's lives. He also wants to catalyze the evolution of women's youth sports.
