Ms. Lyon, born in 1977 in Neuilly-sur-Seine, a suburb of Paris, has established herself as a leading expert in technology, artificial intelligence (AI), cyber and digital risk, with a distinguished career spanning over 25 years. Her professional journey is marked by progressive leadership roles, significant industry contributions and a steadfast commitment to advancing technology-driven solutions.

Since 2024, Ms. Lyon has assumed the role of global leader for cyber and digital risk at Boston Consulting Group (BCG) in New York. In this capacity, she is responsible for selling and delivering consulting projects with specialized teams, identifying client challenges, defining project structures, contracting and overseeing project delivery, and leading a core team of several dozen members within a broader group of 400 professionals. She shapes value propositions, secures strategic investments and enhances market visibility for the firm's offerings. Her expertise in cyber and digital risk has been instrumental in positioning BCG at the forefront of the industry: she is the founder of BCG's Center for Leadership in Cyber Strategy. She also sits at BCG's Responsible AI Council.

Since 2020, Ms. Lyon has served as managing director and senior partner at BCG in Paris, then New York. She was a global leader for artificial intelligence and technology transformation in industrial goods for one year, where she led initiatives to modernize operations and integrate advanced technologies across client organizations.

Between 2022 and 2024, Ms. Lyon held the position of global leader of the Center for Digital in Automotive at BCG. She directed efforts to accelerate digital adoption within the automotive sector, collaborating with industry stakeholders to implement transformative solutions. Concurrently, she was global topic leader for IoT, OT and Web 3.0, overseeing thought leadership and project delivery in these rapidly evolving domains.

A pivotal milestone in Ms. Lyon's career was her appointment as global head of the Build-Operate-Transfer (BOT) service line at the same firm in 2017. She founded this service line after being recognized by the chief executive officer for her innovative approach to client enablement and value proposition development. Under her leadership, BOT transformed how the company structured client engagements by building dedicated teams, framing new offers and securing major projects.

Concurrent with this position, Ms. Lyon served on the France management committee as head of business development and digital at BCG in the greater Paris metropolitan area. She played a key role in expanding the firm's digital capabilities and strengthening its presence in the French market.

Her earlier tenure at BCG included roles as managing director, partner, principal, project leader and consultant from 2005 to 2020. During this period, she contributed to numerous high-profile projects across industries while also serving as global talent manager for the technology advantage practice from 2014 to 2018.

Prior to joining BCG, Ms. Lyon gained valuable experience at L'Oréal in France as supply chain IT manager from 2004 to 2005 and supply chain manager for the preceding three years. She began her corporate career as a junior consultant at Arthur Andersen Business Consulting La Défense in 2001 after working in HR at LVMH in New York from 1999 to 2000.

Ms. Lyon's professional foundation was shaped by her early experiences as an intern in the finance division at Saint-Gobain in 1998 and as a trader assistant on the equity derivatives team at Credit Lyonnais Trading in London that same year. Her career began with distinguished service as a lieutenant in artillery with Armée de Terre from 1995 to 1998.

Throughout her career, Ms. Lyon has been actively involved with industry organizations, such as The New York Academy of Sciences Board of Governors and The Penn Club of New York. Her academic background is equally impressive. In 2024, she earned a Master degree in computer and information technology from the University of Pennsylvania. She also holds a Master of Science in civil engineering from Ecole des Ponts at Institut Polytechnique de Paris and a Master of Science in engineering with a double major in data science and economics from Ecole Polytechnique at Institut Polytechnique de Paris.

Ms. Lyon has further enhanced her qualifications through certifications, including certified SAFe five agilist from Scaled Agile Inc., a certified scrum product owner from Scrum Alliance Inc., a certified scrum master from Scrum Alliance Inc.

Reflecting on her career, Ms. Lyon attributes her achievements to persistence, resilience and an unwavering drive—qualities that have enabled her to overcome challenges and deliver impactful results throughout her career. Her entry into the profession was influenced by her military background while attending military school, which instilled discipline in her before she transitioned into corporate roles.

Ms. Lyon's civic engagement includes serving as PTA liaison for Rye Country Day School since 2025, a board member for online engineering education at the University of Pennsylvania since 2025 and parent association delegate at Saint-Jean de Passy from 2015 to 2022. She was honored with the Médaille de Bronze de la Défense Nationale by the Ministère de La Défense in 1996.

Beyond her professional accomplishments, Ms. Lyon is deeply committed to family life as a mother of three teenagers—a role she considers among her greatest achievements—and is actively engaged alongside her spouse in community initiatives focused on education and skill development. She is passionate about supporting STEM education and digital skills training through charitable efforts aimed at empowering individuals for success in an increasingly digital world.
