TUCSON, AZ, February 05, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Erin Marziale, MPH, has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Marziale has established a distinguished career in public health, marked by her expertise in developing public health institutes and demonstrating excellence in nonprofit management and leadership. Since 2022, she has served as the senior director of network engagement at the National Network of Public Health Institutes, where she manages the network engagement team, communications division and business development team. In this capacity, she has played a pivotal role in expanding the reach and impact of the public health model she champions. When she began her journey, there were 19 such models; under her stewardship, that number has grown to 51. During the pandemic, she was instrumental in launching three new models in Montana, New Jersey and Missouri. She is dedicated to increasing awareness and education about the importance of these models within the broader public health system.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Marziale was director of network engagement at the National Network of Public Health Institutes from 2015 to 2022. In this role, she led a program funded by the Robert Wood Johnson Foundation to support the development of public health institutes, nonprofit organizations that strengthen the public health system nationwide. Among her most significant achievements is her support for establishing the first public health institute focused on indigenous communities, an accomplishment she regards with particular pride.

From 2011 to 2015, Ms. Marziale served as associate director at the National Network of Public Health Institutes. Her responsibilities included fostering collaboration among member institutes and advancing initiatives that addressed emerging public health challenges across the United States.

Between 2006 and 2011, Ms. Marziale held the position of program manager at the National Network of Public Health Institutes. She oversaw key projects designed to build capacity within state and local public health systems and contributed to the organization's growth during a period of significant change in the field.

Ms. Marziale's professional journey began in 2006 as a consultant with the Louisiana Public Health Institute. In this role, she contributed to post-Hurricane Katrina recovery efforts by gathering critical health and demographic data for New Orleans and surrounding parishes. Her leadership quickly became evident as she was appointed team lead for a program that surveyed hurricane-affected communities, helping allocate resources effectively during a time of crisis.

Her academic background includes a Master of Public Health in international health and development from Tulane University School of Public Health and Tropical Medicine, earned in 2006. While completing her final semester at Tulane, Hurricane Katrina struck New Orleans. Invited by a professor to assist with recovery efforts, Ms. Marziale joined fellow students in collecting vital information about returning residents' health care needs, a formative experience that shaped her commitment to public health service. She also holds a Bachelor of Arts in anthropology from the University of Massachusetts Amherst, awarded in 1999.

Ms. Marziale's early experiences as a Peace Corps volunteer in Guyana from 1999 to 2001 deepened her understanding of prevention's importance in global health contexts and ignited her passion for public health work. She attributes much of her success to the relationships she has built throughout her career and values collaboration as essential to achieving lasting impact.

In addition to her professional accomplishments, Ms. Marziale is an active member of the American Public Health Association and maintains broad involvement with civic-minded organizations. She has volunteered as a health volunteer with the Peace Corps, participated as a member and volunteer with Krewe of Muses and contributed time to dog rescue communities.

Looking ahead, Ms. Marziale intends to remain open to new possibilities while continuing to serve in leadership roles within public health. She believes that the path forward involves building connections to encourage a renewed focus on public health, community engagement and connecting leaders to find new ways to collaborate.
