LAS VEGAS, NV, February 12, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Marquis Who's Who, the world's premier publisher of biographical profiles, is proud to present Gregory Madison Klein, CPA with the Albert Nelson Marquis Lifetime Achievement Award. An accomplished listee, Mr. Klein celebrates many years' experience in his professional network and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Klein's distinguished career in accounting and financial management spans more than five decades, marked by a steadfast commitment to service and community impact. For the past 30 years, he has been President and CEO of VecTor ICS, an Interim "C" level Services provider filling client needs in the roles of chief financial officer, controller and consultant from 1991 to 2020. In these capacities, Mr. Klein met with his own clients and the clients of banks, CPA firms and law firms with clients in need of interim chief financial officers. His expertise in fraud auditing became widely recognized, having served over 300 clients throughout his professional journey. Mr. Klein's approach is distinguished by a deep-rooted ethos of service over personal gain, a value inherited from his family's tradition of giving back, which traces its origins to his ancestors' philanthropic work in India.
Before his tenure at VecTor ICS, Mr. Klein served as the chief financial officer at Manco Inc. from 1981 to 1991. During these 10 years, he played a pivotal role in the company's growth and success, contributing significantly to Manco Inc. receiving three Wal-Mart Vendor of the Year Awards for its Masking Tape, Duck Tape, and office products. Manco also received an ACE Hardware Vendor of the Year Award. At the time of his arrival in 1981, Manco Inc. was generating approximately $10 million in sales and was actively engaged in branding efforts with Walmart and ACE Hardware. Mr. Klein's leadership during this transformative era helped position the company as an industry leader.
Earlier in his career, Mr. Klein served as the director of internal audit at Lamson & Sessions Co., overseeing critical audit functions and contributing to organizational integrity and compliance. He held the same title at Curtis Noll Corporation (acquired by Congoleum Corporation) between 1976 and 1979, where he managed internal controls during a period of corporate transition.
Mr. Klein began his professional journey at Ernst & Young Global Limited from 1973 to 1976. This foundational experience provided him with a comprehensive understanding of audit processes within one of the world's leading professional services organizations.
Mr. Klein's academic background includes a Bachelor of Business Administration in accounting and economics from Cleveland State University, completed in 1973, followed by coursework toward a Master of Business Administration at John Carroll University. He also holds credentials as a Certified Public Accountant, a credential that has underpinned his expertise throughout his career.
Throughout his career, Mr. Klein has maintained active memberships in prominent industry organizations, including the American Institute of Certified Public Accountants, the Ohio Society of Certified Public Accountants, the American Management Association and the Institute of Internal Auditors. These affiliations have supported his ongoing professional development and reinforced his commitment to ethical standards within the accounting profession. A defining aspect of Mr. Klein's legacy is his unwavering dedication to the Providence House in Cleveland, a facility he co-founded in 1981 and served as founding board president in 1983. Under his guidance, Providence House has become the largest facility of its kind in North America, providing rescue and care for more than 15,000 children across Northern Ohio. The organization continues to expand its reach with new initiatives such as the establishment of a Crisis Nursery in San Antonio, an effort that follows the Cleveland model and benefits from decades of expertise developed under Mr. Klein's leadership. He remains deeply involved in supporting Providence House's mission and expansion efforts alongside current President and CEO Natalie A. Leek.
The foundation for Mr. Klein's lifelong commitment to service is rooted in his family history and personal faith. He credits his steadfast belief in God as central to his achievements and draws inspiration from relatives. Mr. Klein's entry into financial consulting was catalyzed by experiences following his departure from Manco Inc., including an IPO engagement with Cumulus Corporation, and subsequent opportunities presented by private equity investors seeking interim chief financial officers for companies facing operational challenges. His hands-on approach, conducting operations audits, business plan development, financial "workout" guidance, has been pivotal in his ability to assist small- to medium-sized businesses lacking financial expertise.
Mr. Klein has been recognized with several honors, including in 1989 with the Outstanding Citizen Award from the State of Ohio, a Most Treasured Volunteer Award from The Federation of Community Planning, and accolades for creative projects, such as serving as a disc jockey. Earlier in his professional tenure, he was recognized for an award-winning radio interview on WDOK in the 1980s that continues to inspire others through its enduring message about Providence House's mission.
Celebrating five decades as a certified public accountant, Mr. Klein has served hundreds of clients across diverse sectors. His enduring commitment to service over self-interest stands as a testament to both personal conviction and professional excellence, qualities that continue to shape lives within his community and beyond. Today, Mr. Klein remains focused on maintaining high ethical standards in the accounting profession through rigorous continuing education requirements. He intends to broaden Providence House's impact through strategic growth initiatives, such as establishing new locations, including recent efforts launched in Las Vegas, where he serves as a founding board member.
