From 2020 to 2025, Ms. Carreiro held the position of global accounts payable and payroll manager II at Kroll. During this period, she played a pivotal role in centralizing the accounts payable function and was instrumental in establishing a Circle of Excellence in Mumbai supporting multiple entities within the Kroll organization. Her efforts focused on process optimization, ensuring timely employee payments and collaborating with internal audit teams to support effective expense management systems.

Prior to joining Kroll, Ms. Carreiro served as senior manager of accounts payable at Covanta from 2018 to 2019. One of her most notable achievements during this time was streamlining operations from 35 locations to approximately 16 key personnel, successfully integrating the function at the corporate level. She also implemented optical character recognition technology, resulting in significant workflow efficiencies across the organization. From 2015 to 2018, she held the role of manager of accounts payable operations at Covanta, overseeing departmental policies to ensure Sarbanes-Oxley compliance and ISO certification standards.

Ms. Carreiro's earlier experience includes serving as manager of accounts payable at Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc. from 2013 to 2015, where she managed seasonal teams and centralized departmental operations. This work earned her a "Best in Class" nomination, culminating in her participation in the New York Stock Exchange closing bell ceremony in recognition of effectively managing operations supporting more than 4,000 locations. From 2007 to 2013, she worked as an accounts payable coordinator and accounts receivable specialist supporting Jackson Hewitt Tax Service Inc., following a seven-year tenure as a corporate accounts senior specialist at NEXTEL. She began her career as a senior editor and survey specialist at Roth Harris Communications Inc., The Watts Room.

Academically, Ms. Carreiro earned a Master of Business Administration in business administration and management with concentrations in finance and accounting from Purdue Global in 2016, following completion of a Bachelor of Business Administration with an emphasis in accounting in 2013. She was inducted into the Alpha Beta Kappa Honor Society and holds membership in The National Society of Collegiate Scholars. She was also recognized on the Dean's List for academic excellence.

Ms. Carreiro has completed extensive coursework in payroll and finance operations and is actively advancing her expertise through formal professional development. She is working toward both the Certified Payroll Professional designation and the Certified Financial Operations Manager credential, with plans to complete certification requirements in 2026. She also earned a certificate in accounting from CDM Institute for Accounting and has been an active member of Payroll.org.
