Mrs. Ellis currently serves as the executive director of The Society of Child Entrepreneurs, a nonprofit organization she founded in 2024. She also oversees organizational strategy and operations to support sustainable growth and community impact.

Through The Society of Child Entrepreneurs, Mrs. Ellis has created programs that encourage children to explore entrepreneurship, leadership, and civic engagement through hands-on experience. She is also the author of a children's book series starring Astra and Zeke, characters of her own creation, which introduces young readers to themes of confidence, initiative, and leadership through storytelling. The first book in the series is titled From Sparks to Stars: The Story of Astra and Zeke.

Prior to her current work, Mrs. Ellis co-founded a financial coaching company in 2020, which she operated with her husband through 2023. During that time, she supported individuals and families in building financial literacy and confidence, an experience that strengthened her coaching expertise and informed her later focus on empowering children through practical education.

Mrs. Ellis credits her early professional experience in childcare and child development as foundational to her career path. She draws on extensive work in youth-centered environments to design programs that are developmentally informed and grounded in respect for children's capabilities. She also values the support of a community that encourages innovation and bold ideas.

In addition to her professional endeavors, Mrs. Ellis is actively involved with Girl Scouts of the USA and youth advocacy initiatives. Her credentials include certifications in financial coaching and life coaching, as well as specialized training in educating children with ADHD and autism and coursework in the history of education. She is also an ordained minister, bringing a compassionate and inclusive perspective to her work with families and communities.

Mrs. Ellis has been recognized as Alignable Small Business Person of the Year. Outside of her professional life, she enjoys wedding officiating, visiting museums, and spending time with her family, including her four children.
