Ms. Ney is a distinguished leader in training and development, amassing nearly two decades of expertise in the field. Since 2014, she has served as training manager at Nestlé Purina Petcare, where she manages a team of seven professionals responsible for research, design, development, implementation, facilitation and return-on-investment measurement of tools, resources, technology and training programs for employee development. Her oversight encompasses onboarding, leadership, system implementations, compliance, technical instruction, process improvement and strategic planning. She has led the Education and Training Pillar within the Total Performance Management System and implements job task analysis initiatives to support organizational goals and chronic losses - developing targeted plans aligned with factory needs.
In her current capacity, Ms. Ney also manages administrative processes for learning management systems such as POKA, Matterport and Grow. She works closely with external training vendors to deliver impactful programs and partners with the corporate organizational development department to implement company-wide initiatives. Her fiscal stewardship is evident in her management of the factory training budget and her success in identifying cost savings through grants and government programs, achieving over $105,000 in savings in 2024 and 107,618 in 2025. Additionally, she builds partnerships with community organizations and educational institutions to advance STEM programming and support the future manufacturing workforce.
Ms. Ney's tenure at Nestlé Purina Petcare began as a training coordinator from 2014 to 2015 before advancing to training specialist from 2015 to 2017. In these roles, she contributed to the foundational elements of employee development and training delivery that underpin her current leadership responsibilities.
Her professional journey includes serving as an adult education teacher at Middle Peninsula Regional Adult Career Education in 2022, where she provided instruction to adult learners seeking career advancement. Prior to joining Nestlé Purina Petcare, Ms. Ney was training manager for professional development at AWI from 2013 to 2014, where she led initiatives designed to enhance workforce capabilities.
From 2012 to 2013, Ms. Ney served as a learning analyst at Corporate University Xchange, focusing on evaluating learning strategies for organizational effectiveness. Her previous experience includes roles at Belco Community Credit Union: training coordinator from 2008 to 2012; human resources and talent development support specialist from 2007 to 2008; and CP&S support representative from 2005 to 2007. During her time at Belco Community Credit Union, she was recognized with the Vision Quest Employee Award at several annual meetings, a testament to her dedication and performance.
Ms. Ney's early career includes a wide range of retail and hospitality positions, including sales and catering office administrator at the Radisson Penn Harris Hotel and Convention Center from 1995 to 1997, where she earned multiple awards, including Employee of the Month and Employee of the Year. Throughout her professional journey, she has developed expertise in design, leadership, facilitation and strategic planning—skills that have been instrumental in her achievements.
Ms. Ney's commitment extends beyond her primary roles through active membership in several industry-related organizations, including the Association for Career and Technical Education, the National Career Development Association, the Virginia Manufacturing Association, Women in Manufacturing, the ATD Richmond Chapter, the Association for Talent Development, the Food Marketing Institute, the ATD Central Pennsylvania Chapter, the National Registry of Food Safety Professionals, Psi Chi Honor Society and Phi Theta Kappa - Alpha Nu Omega Chapter.
Her academic accomplishments have played a pivotal role in shaping her career trajectory. Ms. Ney earned a master's degree in organizational development and leadership from Saint Joseph's University in Philadelphia in 2021. In addition, she holds a bachelor's degree in organizational behavior and applied psychology from Albright College in Reading, completed in 2016. Her educational background also includes business studies coursework completed at HACC, Central Pennsylvania's Community College in Harrisburg in 2013. She further enhanced her managerial skills by completing an advanced management course at Penn State University in University Park in 2009.

Ms. Ney's civic engagement is extensive. Among her many contributions are serving as manufacturing sector committee member for Bay Consortium Workforce in 2025 and mentor for Women in Manufacturing Virginia since 2023. She was a customer experience certificate program advisory committee member for the University of Richmond from 2022 to 2023 and participated on the Future Leaders Conference Planning Committee for the Food Marketing Institute from 2013 to 2021. Her commitment to volunteerism also includes membership with Women INvolved (WIN) for The Salvation Army - Harrisburg Capital City Region from 2019 to 2021; Yes! Volunteer for Junior Achievement of South Central Pennsylvania from 2020 to 2021; coordinator council member for United Way of the Capital Region from 2019 to 2020; secretary and communications officer for Susquenita Band Boosters from 2013 to 2018; co-editor of the newsletter for ATD Central Pennsylvania from 2010 to 2013; and volunteer firefighter with Wiconisco Fire Company 23 from 1996 to 2000.
Her accolades include being named Woman of the Year by Women in Manufacturing Virginia in 2025—her most notable achievement—and receiving an outstanding leadership certificate from Women in Manufacturing Virginia that same year. Ms. Ney was nominated for the DE&I Annette C. Morris Ambassador Award by Nestlé Purina Petcare in 2024. Her contributions were further recognized through multiple Five Talls Awards by Nestlé Purina Petcare.
Ms. Ney's earlier honors include Dean's List distinctions at both Albright College and HACC Central Pennsylvania's Community College; the HACC Foundation's William Bliss Memorial Scholarship; the HACC Foundation's Pollock Foundation Award; the HACC Foundation's Mary Sachs Business Scholarship; the Harrisburg Chapter of Credit Unions Scholarship; and the PCUA Memorial Scholarship.
Ms. Ney's creative contributions include "The Book of Road-Tested Activities," published by ASTD in 2011. She attributes much of her success to an insatiable curiosity and a persistent habit of asking questions, qualities that have driven her willingness to embrace new challenges throughout her career.
Outside of her professional commitments, Ms. Ney enjoys spending time with family as well as crafting, cooking and traveling.
