During the COVID-19 surge, she identified systemic abuse and fraud vulnerabilities in curbside pickup appointment allocation. She defined and shipped ML-driven fraud detection and abuse mitigation systems, improving slot allocation fairness while delivering substantial cost savings. From 2014 to 2016, Ms. Karandikar served as Senior Product Manager (Mobile) at Hubio Technology, leading cross-platform mobile product development. She delivered data-driven telematics solutions enabling insurance risk modeling and premium reduction programs.

She spent nearly a decade at Orange (2005–2014) as a Senior Product Manager, managing large-scale telecommunications and digital platform initiatives, including mobile gaming ecosystems and free-to-play partnerships, focusing on monetization and partner integrations.

Her early career included a summer associate position at Merrill Lynch under Bank of America Corporation in 2000, where she gained foundational experience in financial services.

Ms. Karandikar's academic background has been instrumental in shaping her professional achievements. She earned a Master of Business Administration in management information systems from the Lam Family College of Business at San Francisco State University. She also holds a Master of Arts in accounting from University of Pune.
