During the previous year, he held the role of director of applications engineering, where he oversaw technical teams and contributed to product development efforts.

From 2021 to 2022, Mr. Warner was senior program manager at the U.S. Air Force Cyber Resiliency Office for Weapon Systems within Applied Research Solutions. In this role, he managed complex projects aimed at enhancing cyber resiliency across critical defense platforms. From 2019 to 2021, he also contributed as an associate with AFLCMCWAG (Fighters & Advanced Aircraft, Special Programs) at Booz Allen Hamilton, supporting advanced aircraft programs with specialized expertise in cybersecurity.

Mr. Warner's military service includes eight years as a cyber surety non-commissioned officer with the Air National Guard from 2012 to 2020. During this period, he developed foundational skills in information assurance and cyber operations that would inform his later work in both public and private sectors. In 2019, he also served as information assurance manager at the Air Force Research Laboratory RY through Sawdey Solution Services.

Mr. Warner's early experience extends into the private sector with GE Aviation, where he was a senior application operations engineer from 2018 to 2019 and a technical product manager from 2017 to 2018. His foundational roles include business intelligence analyst at Rumpke Waste & Recycling, junior software engineer at Promevo and IS developer/analyst co-op at The Shepherd Color Company.

Educationally, Mr. Warner's background has been instrumental in shaping his expertise in cyber defense. He earned a Bachelor of Science in information technology with a concentration in software development from the University of Cincinnati in 2017. His education also includes coursework in air command and control battle management at Community College of the Air Force and studies in Air Force history through United States Air Force ROTC.

Mr. Warner also holds a range of industry-recognized certifications that reflect his sustained commitment to professional growth and technical excellence in cybersecurity and systems administration. His credentials include the Google Cybersecurity Certificate, formal training in the NIST Cybersecurity Framework and SecureView Server Administration certification through the Air Force Research Laboratory. He has also earned foundational credentials in security analytics and threat monitoring through Splunk Fundamentals, as well as the CompTIA Security+ certification.

Throughout his career, Mr. Warner has credited his achievements to the steadfast support of his family. He believes that having a strong foundation at home has enabled him to dedicate himself fully to his professional pursuits without distraction.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Warner has demonstrated a longstanding commitment to civic engagement and community service. Since 2021, he has served as a cyber reservist with the Ohio Cyber Reserve. His earlier volunteer activities include assisting with mail delivery to troops through the United States Postal Service in 2016, volunteering at Young Life Camp with Young Life in 2010 and supporting local charitable initiatives as a donor to his church.
