By initiating weekly calls and coordinating closely with the client's warehouse and shipping teams, Mr. Carlson successfully reduced these fines to between $1,000 and $2,000 per month. His efforts not only alleviated financial burdens, and bolstered their supply chain Key Performance Indicators but helped elevate sales significantly by getting product to the shelves and assisted this client to earn the Supplier of the Year award at Walmart. This accomplishment stands as a testament to his commitment to client advocacy and operational excellence.

From 2018 to 2020, Mr. Carlson held the position of replenishment manager at Marathon Global, Club Marketing, a division of Advantage Solutions. In this capacity, he managed supply chain operations for clients seeking access to Walmart buyers, helping them navigate complex retail requirements and optimize their product presence. For the preceding year, he served as replenishment insights manager at Acosta before his first tenure at Marathon Global as replenishment manager from 2015 to 2017.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Carlson was manager of financial services I for the Walmart & Sam's Club Team at The Coca-Cola Company from 2014 to 2015. He previously worked as replenishment analyst at Coca-Cola Enterprises from 2013 to 2014 after beginning his post-military corporate journey as Inventory Manager at corporate Sam's Club for the preceding year.

Before transitioning into the private sector, Mr. Carlson dedicated twenty-five years to the U.S. Air Force from 1987 to 2012, ultimately achieving the highest rank possible for an enlisted member, a distinction reserved for the top one percent of personnel. As Director of Operations during his military tenure, he oversaw more than 250 individuals in munitions systems technology, managing everything from ammunition production to equipment logistics for wartime efforts. His exemplary service was recognized with two huge honors while overseeing all munitions operations in Korea in 2010; he won Senior Non-Commissioned Officer of the Year and received a nomination for the Air Force's Twelve Outstanding Airmen of the Year.

Mr. Carlson's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in Business Management from American Sentinel College in Aurora, Colorado, in 2012. He also completed coursework in Munitions Systems Technology at Community College of the Air Force in Montgomery, Alabama, in 2005. He has also enhanced his professional knowledge through membership in the Supplier Group at Walmart.

Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Carlson is committed to civic engagement through volunteer work alongside his wife at Mercy Hospital, where they participate in food drives and deliveries supporting community members in need. In his free time, he enjoys traveling and playing softball.
