CHICAGO, IL, February 24, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Lindsay K. Bailey has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Bailey currently serves as the Director of Housekeeping at a Forbes five-star & 2 MICHELIN key rated property in Chicago. Since 2021, she has overseen all aspects of cleanliness and daily operations, ensuring the hotel consistently meets the highest standards for its guests. Her responsibilities include managing her team, coordinating orders, supervising guest services and public area services, budgeting, and driving bottom line flow through. Above anything else, she's passionate about providing polished service that has long defined top-end hospitality. She makes it her team's mission to know what guests want before they ask. "Our staff will watch what you're doing, what you're drinking, so that the next day they can ask, 'Can I get you another lemonade?'" she says. "These are very small touches that really make you feel known and seen."

Known for her hands-on approach, Ms. Bailey conducts daily inspections of rooms and public spaces while maintaining a personal touch that distinguishes the guest experience. She's always asking the question "how can we make this even better?". Her expertise in people management is evident in her hotel's exceptional employee retention rate; a majority of the staff have remained with her company for over 20 years, thus minimizing turnover and fostering a cohesive team environment.

Prior to joining her current property, Ms. Bailey was the Director of Housekeeping at Acqualina Resort and Residences., a five-star, five-diamond property in Miami, from 2021 to 2023 before returning to the Midwest to be closer to her family. Her transition to Acqualina marked a significant milestone in her career, as she successfully entered one of the most competitive and prestigious hospitality environments at just 24 years old. This achievement was recognized by her team, who valued her dedication, leadership skills and ability to integrate operational excellence with compassionate people management.

From 2019 to 2021, Ms. Bailey held the positions of Housekeeping Manager and Front Office Manager at JW Marriott Marco Island Beach Resort on Florida's southwest coast. She initially joined the resort as a management trainee in 2019, gaining comprehensive experience across both the front office and housekeeping departments. Her leadership during this period saw her recognized with the Spirit to Serve Award for providing safety-centered service during the COVID-19 pandemic.

Earlier in her journey, Ms. Bailey worked in corporate human resources at Marcus Hotels & Resorts in the Greater Milwaukee Area from 2017 to 2018 after serving as a night auditor at the Platinum Hotel Las Vegas in 2017. Both of these positions equipped her with valuable exposure to multiple roles and departments within the hospitality sector, including development planning, application processes, reception and enrollment services.

Throughout her entire career, Ms. Bailey has demonstrated expertise in five-star resort atmospheres, people management, cleanliness standards and maintaining low turnover rates among the staff — qualities that have distinguished her as a leader in luxury hospitality. Alongside her primary roles, she also participates in events with the Michigan State Alumni Hospitality Career Network and the Illinois Hotel & Lodging Association, the latter where she was nominated as a 2024 Star of the Industry.

Academically, Ms. Bailey holds a Bachelor of Arts in hospitality business from Broad College of Business at Michigan State University, graduating early in 2018. Determined to make an impact outside the classroom as well, she served as vice president of Alpha Omicron Pi from 2016 to 2017 and joined Eta Sigma Delta as well as the National Society of Collegiate Scholars in 2016.

Dedicated to the ideals of continuous growth, Ms. Bailey is certified in adult and pediatric first aid by The American National Red Cross and completed the Foundations of Leadership course through Marriott International. She also holds ServSafe certifications from the National Restaurant Association, enhancing her qualifications in food safety, handling and management.

Reflecting on her storied journey thus far, Ms. Bailey attributes her success to consistently surrounding herself with decision makers and positive influences throughout her career. One of her most significant mentors was Steven Krekorian, her previous Director at Acqualina, whose support and encouragement strongly influenced her own management style and expertise in the field. Known for extending herself beyond her assigned duties to learn new skills, she proactively seeks feedback by attending meetings and events with leadership teams — an approach that has provided valuable opportunities for advancement and connection. She also strongly believes in encounters. "Through curiosity and nurturing relationships, you get exposed to things in life and then it's up to you to embrace it." This approach has served her well—what began as a 3-month internship in Milwaukee back in 2016 evolved into a distinguished career spanning the country and brands.

Ms. Bailey's interest in service was influenced by her parents, both of whom attended Michigan State University — one of the few institutions offering a dedicated hospitality program — and by an early passion for travel and exploring new places. Recognizing that traditional fields such as health care or engineering did not match her interests, she chose to pursue hospitality business at Michigan State after discovering its alignment with her aspirations.

In addition to her professional commitments, Ms. Bailey is actively involved in many civic organizations and charitable initiatives. She has supported donation campaigns for the Ingham County Animal Shelter Fund since 2016 and serves as a mentor and donor for Boys & Girls Clubs of America. Also part of Vision 2030 Green Team, she contributes to long-term sustainability efforts within her organization and throughout the Greater Chicago Area.

Furthermore, Ms. Bailey volunteers time and gifts with Hephzibah Children's Association of Chicago by preparing care packages for holidays and supports United Way Worldwide through various initiatives. She also maintains strong ties with the Michigan State Alumni Society by participating in hiring events and career placements for seniors pursuing careers in hospitality.

Equally committed to mentoring younger individuals pursuing hospitality careers, Ms. Bailey maintains ongoing relationships with students entering the field — often staying connected until they gain sufficient experience for five-star hotel positions — and mentors international students studying hospitality at Les Roches on J-1 visas in Chicago. Notably, two students she mentored were hired as managers at The Peninsula Istanbul after completing their training under her guidance.

Outside of her work and civic endeavors, Ms. Bailey enjoys spending time with her dog Ralphie, exploring the vibrant neighborhoods of Chicago, socializing with her friends and camping with her spouse in South Central Wisconsin.

Looking toward the future, Ms. Bailey aspires to gain work experience in Asia where many hospitality trends originate — a region she finds particularly exciting given its dynamic market environment and the opportunities within her current company's network of properties. Her long-term ambitions include obtaining a Master of Business Administration to further strengthen her business acumen as she continues to seek personal growth avenues. Additionally, she aims to introduce daycare services within hospitality companies, furthering her longstanding legacy of helping others, continuous learning and compassionate leadership in everything she does.
