FREEPORT, NY, February 25, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jerome Dazzell has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Dazzell has established a distinguished career as a technology executive and consultant, recognized for his commitment to empowering mission-driven organizations through innovative, secure and equitable technology solutions. As founder and chief executive officer of Dazzell Consulting since 2019, he has guided nonprofits in modernizing their fundraising and workforce development operations by implementing tailored, technology-driven systems and agile models. His leadership is grounded in principles of equity, transparency and accountability, ensuring that every engagement advances organizational values while providing equitable access to data for staff, leaders and grassroots partners. Drawing on his lived experience as an immigrant navigating complex systems, Mr. Dazzell champions the creation of inclusive technology ecosystems that break down silos and foster collaboration.
Prior to establishing Dazzell Consulting, Mr. Dazzell served as Senior Vice President of IT and Systems Operations at Per Scholas from 2012 to 2025. In this capacity, he was instrumental in building the organization's enterprise IT infrastructure from the ground up. His work encompassed the design and implementation of scalable Salesforce ecosystems that support fundraising, grant management, and workforce compliance. He also prioritized robust data governance and cybersecurity practices, significantly strengthening organizational trust. Through these efforts, Mr. Dazzell enabled Per Scholas and other nonprofits to enhance forecasting accuracy, improve reporting controls and foster funder confidence, ultimately elevating their credibility and impact within the sector.
In addition to his tenure at Per Scholas, Mr. Dazzell served as Lead Salesforce Engineer at Warner Music Group from 2018 to 2019, where he helped develop enterprise-level solutions for a major entertainment company. In 2018, he also worked as a Salesforce developer at MDRC, applying his expertise to support research-driven initiatives in education and social policy.
His professional journey began in banking and finance at JPMorgan Chase from 2002 to 2010, where he advanced to branch manager and assistant vice president after being entrusted with managing his own financial center at Washington Mutual during his first year of college. The 2008 mortgage crisis led to significant changes in the industry, ultimately prompting Mr. Dazzell's transition to the nonprofit sector. This pivotal moment allowed him to channel his passion for technology toward social impact.
Throughout his career, Mr. Dazzell has been an active member of Sigma Alpha Pi, the National Society of Leadership and Success (NSLS), reflecting his dedication to leadership development in his field.
Mr. Dazzell's academic achievements have played a critical role in shaping his professional trajectory. He earned a Master of Science in information technology from Southern New Hampshire University in 2022 after graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Science in management information systems from the same institution in 2019. His commitment to continuous learning is further demonstrated by an array of certifications: Security for Accounts and Devices; Secure Messaging & Communications; Nonprofit Product Management Strategies; Lead with Technology Roadmaps; Implementing Effective Cybersecurity Policies; Cybersecurity Landscape - Understanding Threats, Risks & First Steps for Nonprofits; Cybersecurity Incident Response; Building a Security Mindset—all from NTEN in 2025—as well as Salesforce Certified AI Associate (2024), Mastering Leadership Dynamics graduate from the Truist Leadership Institute (2024), Cybersecurity Leadership Program graduate from the SANS Institute (2023), Reports & Dashboard Specialist (Salesforce Trailhead Superbadges, 2017), Salesforce Certified Administrator (2017), Strategic Planning (American Management Association, 2015), Microsoft Certified Technical Specialist (2012) and CompTIA A+ (2011). These credentials have equipped him with the expertise necessary to design secure systems that protect sensitive data while maintaining transparency.
Mr. Dazzell attributes his success to the resilience and persistence instilled in him from a young age, qualities reinforced by his experiences as an immigrant from Guyana navigating complex educational and societal systems. He holds education in high regard, believing that meaningful outcomes require unwavering commitment. Inspired by a quote from Bruce Lee displayed in his office—"Defeat is a state of mind. No one is ever defeated until defeat has been accepted as a reality." He approaches challenges as opportunities for growth rather than setbacks.
His civic involvement includes serving as the board vice chair of Bronx Independent Cinema Center from 2023 to 2024 and participating in a principal-for-a-day program with PENCIL Inc. between 2006 and 2008, a formative experience that introduced him to the nonprofit landscape and inspired his ongoing dedication to social impact work.
Mr. Dazzell's thought leadership extends beyond organizational boundaries through speaking engagements at major conferences such as Dreamforce and world tour events, where he has shared insights on automation's role in multiplying program impact—most notably through his publication "More Flow, Less Work: Automation Can Help Multiply Your Program's Impact," presented at Dreamforce in 2017. He has also contributed to podcasts following significant system launches, discussing their implications for diversity, equity and inclusion within the sector.
Among his academic honors is being named to the President's List at Southern New Hampshire University in 2017.
Outside of his professional pursuits, Mr. Dazzell enjoys working with his hands, collecting Star Wars memorabilia, building Star Wars Lego sets, spending time with family and his black Labrador, dining out, trying new things, cooking, experimenting with food and enjoying outdoor activities during the summer months.
Looking ahead, Mr. Dazzell aims to continue making a significant impact in the nonprofit sector by assisting more organizations in establishing systems that enhance their financial, operational, and ethical resilience. As data, artificial intelligence, and digital platforms become increasingly central to building trust within these organizations, he envisions blending advisory work with executive leadership and mentorship to support institutions during critical growth periods and to nurture future nonprofit technology leaders. He remains committed to leaving every organization stronger than he found it by fostering resilience through thoughtful technological advancement.
