Before transitioning to real estate, Ms. Marzano spent three decades as a restaurateur in Washington, D.C. She began her career in the restaurant business at an early age, living above her immigrant parents' establishment for the first five years of her life. Today, Ms. Marzano's family continues to own Osteria Marzano in Alexandria, Virginia, where her daughter and husband are partners and co-owners. She collaborated closely with architects to build the business from the ground up until it operated independently.
