Ms. Canavati-Anglin is a member of GIA Alumni, the Jewelers Board of Trade (JBT), and the National Association of Professional Women. Born in Jerusalem and raised in Bethlehem maintaining strong ties to her Middle Eastern heritage, she continues a family legacy of public service and entrepreneurship. Her grandfather served in the Parliament of King Hussein, her uncle was the mayor of Bethlehem, and her cousin, Maher Canawati, currently serves as the Mayor of Bethlehem. However, her primary role model remains her mother, who owned more than 7 jewelry stores on Manger Street in Bethlehem.
