SAINT PETERSBURG, FL, March 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Larry Domash has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Mr. Domash has established himself as a pioneering force in the field of systematic trading, particularly through his leadership roles at Curve Asset Management and Curve Publishing since 2012. As president, founder, chief executive officer and portfolio manager, he has been instrumental in developing and publishing the only systematic trading intellectual property designed for the world's largest corporations, encompassing both corporate debt and equity. His expertise in operating and publishing systematic trading models is widely recognized, with his work connecting equity markets with corporate debt markets—a development that has generated significant interest across the financial sector.
At Curve Asset Management, Mr. Domash led a team that created a comprehensive quantitative model covering both investment-grade and non-investment-grade securities. This system captures over 78 percent of all bonds traded daily and spans 84 percent of the largest-cap equities across the top eight global markets. The model, which relies exclusively on publicly available financial disclosures from the top 255 companies worldwide, has demonstrated a 95 percent success rate in back-tested trade indicators. Notably, this approach requires no active trading involvement and is unique in its extensive coverage and integration of systematic credit and equity trading. The intellectual property is currently published on Substack, with plans underway to launch a dedicated website aimed at attracting between 10,000 and 20,000 daily users.
Prior to his current tenure, Mr. Domash served as head of corporate fixed income at Ronin Capital from 2004 to 2012. In this capacity, he managed proprietary trading strategies and oversaw significant fixed-income portfolios. From 2002 to 2004, he was a director of high-yield research and head of proprietary trading at Societe Generale, where he directed research initiatives and managed high-yield investments.
Between 1999 and 2002, Mr. Domash held the position of director of high-yield research at Robertson Stephens, where he was responsible for leading research teams focused on high-yield securities. For the preceding two years, he served as chief executive officer at Cleary Gull Reiland & McDevitt.
Mr. Domash's career at Fidelity Investments from 1990 to 1997 marked a series of significant milestones. As director of investment operations, he managed both equity research and fixed-income research in the United States while spending considerable time stationed internationally. He also served as director of United States and European research and as director of high-yield research. During his time at Fidelity, he led the largest research department in the world and played a pivotal role in developing risk management guidelines for fixed income departments. Abby Johnson was instrumental in establishing the relationship between equities and debt within Fidelity's quantitative framework, while J. Gary Burkhead provided essential support for Mr. Domash's innovative projects.
Mr. Domash began his career as head of fixed income and head of equity research at Gofen and Glossberg from 1985 to 1990. Throughout his career, he has balanced senior management responsibilities with hands-on roles as a proprietary trader and portfolio manager, overseeing hundreds of billions of dollars annually and executing trillions in bond trades each year. His disciplined approach to intellectual property—often going against prevailing industry trends—has positioned him as a leader in systematic trading models that now benefit from advances in artificial intelligence and computing power.
Academically, Mr. Domash's background laid the foundation for his professional achievements. He earned a Master's degree in management with concentrations in economics and finance from Northwestern University with honors in 1986. It was during his studies at Northwestern's business school that he developed his first systematic trading model for Jackson National Life while serving as chief investment officer there. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts in economics from Lawrence University, graduating in 1981, and has held FINRA Series 6, 7, 30, and 67 licenses, as well as an FCA license.
Mr. Domash attributes much of his success to lessons learned from setbacks throughout his career journey across seven or eight different firms, which allowed him to expand his horizons despite not always being an ideal fit culturally or strategically. Additioanlly, influential mentors such as Bill Breen at Northwestern University introduced him to advanced equity modeling techniques that shaped his thinking early on.
In addition to his professional pursuits, Mr. Domash has maintained active involvement with civic organizations. He has volunteered with the Cancer Research Board at Lawrence University and served on its board of trustees and has also contributed as a member of several boards of directors for various companies.
Mr. Domash is also honored for his written contributions in academic research. While at Lawrence University, he authored one of the first computer-aided labor economics abstracts titled "Entry Barriers in Professional Baseball." This pioneering work used statistical analysis to demonstrate wage and opportunity discrimination against minorities from 1947 to 1977 while highlighting performance disparities required for minority players to remain in major league baseball.
Born in Chicago, Mr. Domash is part of a family with a strong professional legacy—his father, Alvin Domash, was a prominent lawyer who graduated from the University of Illinois College of Law. Mr. Domash's daughter Kate now serves as director of investment operations at Sotheby's and owns two private galleries in London, while his son Charlie is vice president in the fintech/investment banking group in electronic trading for Citigroup. His youngest daughter Lily is an award-winning advertising director on the brand consulting team at CAA.
Outside his professional life, Mr. Domash enjoys traveling the world with his partner Desiree Glowa. They met in 2011 and together they enjoy other cultures, reading news-related material, spending time outdoors boating and spending time with family and friends. Among all accomplishments, he considers raising his three children on his own as his most significant achievement.
