Mr. Landrum currently serves as the Director of Scheduling and Planning, Mission Critical, at Clayco, where he is responsible for orchestrating the sequence of activities required to initiate and complete hyperscale projects. In this capacity, he manages teams of professional schedulers in their oversight of some of today's most complex construction projects. His role also involves collaborating with diverse project teams across multiple mission critical campuses, ranging from hundreds of millions to several billion dollars. Mr. Landrum joined Clayco at a pivotal stage in his career, motivated by a desire to coach, mentor and train others entering the field.
Prior to joining Clayco in 2025, Mr. Landrum held several key positions with Mortenson. From 2023 to 2025, he was a Senior Planning and Scheduling Manager, where he led project scheduling and planning efforts and contributed to the successful delivery of corporate and customer initiatives. Earlier in 2023, he served as Planning and Scheduling Manager II, building on his expertise in project management and project controls.
From 2021 to 2023, Mr. Landrum was a Planning and Scheduling Manager I at Mortenson, where he further refined his skills in earned value management and schedule optimization. His tenure at Mortenson began in 2019 as a Senior Scheduler II, a role he held until 2021.
Before his time at Mortenson, Mr. Landrum worked as a Senior Scheduler at Okland Construction in the greater Salt Lake City area from 2017 to 2019. In this position, he was instrumental in developing detailed preconstruction project schedules and ensuring alignment between project teams and stakeholders. From 2012 to 2017, he served as a Senior Project Manager at Fisher Powerline Construction Ltd. in Fort McMurray, Alberta, Canada, where he managed a project controls team building large-scale powerline construction projects, overseeing all phases from planning through execution.
Mr. Landrum's earlier experience includes serving as a Project Manager at KT Industrial Construction Inc. in Fort McMurray from 2011 to 2012. There, he coordinated industrial construction projects and managed multidisciplinary teams. He began his career in construction as an apprentice electrician and later as a Planner and Scheduler for Casman Group of Companies in Fort McMurray from 2009 to 2011, following his foundational experience as a 401(k) administrator with National Benefit Services LLC in West Jordan, Utah, from 2006 to 2009.
At the outset of his professional journey, Mr. Landrum pursued a Bachelor of Business Administration with a focus in management and operations from Brigham Young University–Idaho in Rexburg, Idaho. This was followed by a Certificate in Project Management from Keyano College in Fort McMurray, Alberta, in 2016. He later pursued an Associate of Science in Construction Management from Salt Lake Community College in Salt Lake City in 2019.
Mr. Landrum has further distinguished himself by obtaining advanced certifications, in scheduling and project management from Keyano College. These credentials have strengthened his technical expertise and have been instrumental in his successful management of complex projects.
Mr. Landrum attributes his achievements to finding positive role models throughout his life while maintaining his individuality. His entry into the construction field was influenced by his dual citizenship. He initially worked as a pension administrator before relocating to Canada at his uncle's invitation to work on multifamily housing projects as an apprentice electrician. After a year of working hands-on with fire alarm systems, Mr. Landrum transitioned into planning and scheduling roles that would define his career trajectory.
These experiences reinforced Mr. Landrum's belief in the value of hard work and the importance of having a clear vision for one's career. He emphasizes that individuals can shape and direct their professional paths, taking ownership of their journey and advancing at a pace that aligns with their goals.
Beyond his professional pursuits, Mr. Landrum supports The Starfish Foundation and is an active member of the Project Management Institute.
