HENDERSON, NV, March 06, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Seifi Ahmed Zaki has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Zaki's distinguished career in quality, reliability and new product introduction spans several decades and reflects a remarkable trajectory of leadership and technical expertise. Most recently, he served as senior director of quality and reliability at Ambient Photonics from 2023 to 2024. In this role, Mr. Zaki contributed to the company's mission to innovate in the photonics sector, focusing on replacing traditional solar cells with advanced battery technologies. Despite the startup's eventual loss of funding, his tenure was marked by a commitment to high standards and operational excellence.

Prior to his work at Ambient Photonics, Mr. Zaki served as director of quality for North America at XP Power from 2018 to 2022. Over five years, he led initiatives to enhance product reliability and ensure compliance with rigorous industry standards. His efforts were instrumental in maintaining the company's reputation for delivering dependable power solutions across diverse markets.

In 2018, Mr. Zaki was head of quality and customer satisfaction at Bentek Corporation, where he oversaw quality assurance programs and drove improvements in customer engagement. His leadership strengthened client relationships and optimized operational processes.

From 2015 to 2017, Mr. Zaki operated as president in a self-employed capacity, providing consulting services that leveraged his extensive background in manufacturing quality and regulatory systems. He guided startups through critical phases of development, helping them establish robust processes from concept through production.

Between 2011 and 2014, Mr. Zaki served as senior director of quality and regulatory systems at NVIDIA. In this capacity, he managed global compliance initiatives and implemented quality management frameworks that supported the company's rapid growth in the technology sector.

As vice president of operations at Touch Down Technologies (formerly Verigy/Advantest Corporation) from 2010 to 2011, Mr. Zaki directed large-scale operational strategies and ensured seamless integration of customer service functions.

From 2006 to 2011, he was vice president of global assembly, test and customer service at Form Factor Inc., where he led international teams responsible for manufacturing excellence and post-sales support. Additionally, from 2003 to 2006, he served as the senior director of customer program management at Form Factor Inc., focusing on client satisfaction and program delivery.

Mr. Zaki's earlier experience includes serving as director of operations at Big Bear Networks from 2001 to 2003, where he managed production workflows and quality control systems. From 2000 to 2001, he was director of manufacturing quality and reliability at Harmonic, overseeing product validation processes.

His career began as a device physics engineer at National Semiconductor, where he developed foundational expertise in semiconductor technologies. He then joined Avantek for four years, contributing to military contracts supporting satellite and aerospace projects during a period when defense budgets were robust.

A significant milestone in Mr. Zaki's professional journey occurred during his tenure as vice president of quality at Western Digital. There, he played a pivotal role in advancing quantum computing initiatives—particularly within the now-defunct Quantum Computing division—and collaborated closely with the vice president of sales to expand opportunities for original equipment manufacturers. Recognizing the unique demands of original equipment manufacturers compared to consumer markets, Mr. Zaki developed a comprehensive consolidated qualification plan that included compatibility testing across multiple platforms and rigorous reliability assessments. He established an extensive laboratory dedicated to testing disk drives against all major motherboards and processors, ensuring consistent performance across devices. This initiative ensured that each disk drive met stringent quality standards from design through shipping, while implementing ongoing field-monitoring protocols to prevent major failures. This hallmark achievement set new benchmarks for product qualification within the industry.

Throughout his career, Mr. Zaki has demonstrated expertise in quality assurance, reliability engineering and launching new products into manufacturing environments. His contributions have been recognized by peers and industry leaders alike for their impact on operational efficiency and product excellence.

Mr. Zaki is an active member of several professional organizations, including ASQE and IEEE, reflecting his commitment to ongoing professional development and engagement with advancements in engineering standards.

His academic foundation was established at Washington State University in Pullman, Washington, where he earned a bachelor's degree in electrical engineering in 1983. His father influenced the decision to pursue engineering. This strict military leader retired as a three-star general, who set clear expectations for each child's career path from an early age: medicine for his brother, law for his sister and engineering for Mr. Zaki himself. Despite initially knowing little about electrical engineering when applying to university, Mr. Zaki excelled academically and credits this education with equipping him for success throughout his multifaceted career.

Born in Cairo, Egypt, Mr. Zaki immigrated without knowledge of English. However, after entering high school directly, he taught himself the language independently, repeating a year but never attending formal language classes. This personal accomplishment remains a source of great pride.

In his personal life, Mr. Zaki is dedicated to his family, which includes one daughter and a brother and sister who have also achieved distinction in their respective fields.

Looking ahead, Mr. Zaki intends to enjoy a relaxing lifestyle while remaining open to occasional consulting opportunities—particularly those involving startups seeking guidance on process development from inception through manufacturing launch—drawing upon his deep knowledge of industry best practices to support emerging enterprises on their path to success.
