Alongside her work in technology, Ms. Clavon has long supported the arts and community engagement. Since 2000, she has managed Stepkey Music in Bowie, Maryland, overseeing business operations and supporting the organization's mission to promote music and cultural enrichment.

Before launching CyberSageAI, Ms. Clavon held several senior executive leadership roles at Amentum in Herndon, Virginia. From 2024 to 2025, she served as senior vice president of data security and analytics, where she advanced the company's cybersecurity and data management capabilities. She considers building strong, mission-focused teams grounded in authenticity and collaboration to be one of her most meaningful professional accomplishments.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Clavon held senior leadership positions at Jacobs, serving as senior vice president of cyber and intelligence solutions from 2022 to 2024 and, prior to that, as vice president and general manager of platforms, technologies, and software solutions. In these roles, she led complex technology programs, developed strategic partnerships, and drove innovation across cybersecurity, data analytics, and mission systems.

She also served as chief operating officer at BlackLynx from 2020 to 2021, while concurrently holding roles as senior director of analytics and vice president of analytics and strategy. During her tenure, she helped shape the company's analytics strategy and operational framework.

Ms. Clavon's earlier career includes leadership roles at Blackbird Technologies, Agilex Technologies, and EDS, where she worked as an enterprise architect designing complex information systems for federal agencies. Her career in national security technology began with the Department of the Air Force, where she served as a computer specialist supporting defense and data management initiatives.

Her professional foundation also includes roles with Sytel, Camber Corporation, and the National Science Foundation, where she contributed to emerging technology initiatives and received the NSF Director's Award for her work.

Ms. Clavon holds a Master of Business Administration from the University of Maryland Global Campus, a Master of Science in Information Systems Resources from the same institution, and a Bachelor of Arts in Political Science and Government from the University of Maryland, Baltimore County.

Her entry into the technology field was not initially planned. After graduating from college, she moved to Fort Lauderdale and began her banking career before accepting a position with the Department of the Air Force. That opportunity launched what would become a lifelong career in technology innovation and national security systems.

Beyond her professional leadership, Ms. Clavon remains actively engaged in service and community initiatives. She serves on advisory and nonprofit boards, including RISE Institute, Christian Ministry Alliance, and the Center for Cyber Safety and Education (the charitable foundation of ISC2). She is also active with Tree of Life Ministries and The Good Shepherd organization.

Ms. Clavon frequently speaks about cybersecurity, leadership, and opportunities for women and underrepresented groups in STEM. She often shares her family's story, particularly her mother's journey from the daughter of sharecroppers to a PhD-holding professor, to demonstrate the transformative power of education across generations.

Outside of her professional endeavors, Ms. Clavon enjoys travel, music, cultural events, and time with family. She regularly participates in family cruises and gatherings and maintains close relationships with her extended family.
