Dr. Fowler completed her emergency medicine residency at ChristianaCare from 2011 to 2014, gaining hands-on experience in high-pressure environments that would shape her approach to problem-solving and adaptability. Earlier in her career, she worked as a research review specialist during her undergraduate studies at Washington University in St. Louis from 2005 to 2006.

Dr. Fowler's academic background is distinguished by a Doctor of Medicine from the School of Medicine and Health Sciences at The George Washington University, earned in 2011. Previously, she completed post-baccalaureate premedical coursework at Goucher College in Baltimore, Maryland, in 2007 after graduating summa cum laude with a Bachelor of Arts in religious studies, psychology and legal studies from Washington University in St. Louis in 2005.

Dr. Fowler attributes much of her success to her ability to think on her feet – an essential skill honed during her years practicing emergency medicine – and to her openness to learning new skills.
