RAVENNA, OH, March 12, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- James A. Wasas, board chairman and chief science officer of Standard H2 Inc., was selected by Marquis Who's Who for a prominent feature in the February/March 2026 national edition of Fortune magazine.

Dedicated to saving lives and our planet, with expertise in environmental science, technology and business development, Mr. Wasas has made numerous contributions to improve life. He has served as chief science officer at Standard H2 Inc. and as the board chairman since 2021. Founded in 2019, Standard H2 Inc. creates innovative solutions to pollution that enhance humankind's well-being and preserve the environment. Additionally, Mr. Wasas serves as the chief science officer and board chairman at H2 Final Filter Inc.

Mr. Wasas' roles reflect his dedication to advancing hydrogen-powered technologies for environmental sustainability and developing PPE to kill pathogens trapped by face masks, air and water filters to prevent contagion. He and his team focus on preserving humanity by working to eliminate toxins from the air, water and land – calling themselves "the pollution solution" – and notes that humankind cannot survive without being clean environmental stewards.

Mr. Wasas holds patents for converting hydrogen sulfide into hydrogen and sulfur, destroying carbonaceous materials, eliminating NOx from diesel and power plant exhaust without using ammonia or DEF, eliminating PFAS, and eliminating other noxious chemicals. The Standard H2 team holds the patent for cleaning H2 from any source, so pure sulfur cannot be detected, and the H2 fuel cell using this H2 could last for generations. His current patenting involves killing pathogens with an antimicrobial agent that can last for years, while removing foul and toxic odors during air and water filtration, as it is non-volatile, non-flammable and non-water-soluble, yet non-toxic to humans.

Earlier, Mr. Wasas served as the chief science officer at Kent PaverBrick LLC, the director of gold and silver refining operations at the Great American Mint and Refinery Inc. in Anaheim, California, and the chief science officer at Swapsol Corp. He also excelled as the chief science officer at Conklin Marketing Inc., winning the Best of Show Platinum Award in 2009 in Geneva, Switzerland, for "The Spirit of Liberty" American Cream Liqueur, and the Gold Medal for his other invention, "Espiritu del Ecuador" cordial.

Internationally, Mr. Wasas was the project manager for seven gold and silver ore processing operations during his 14 years in Ecuador, teaching the use of cyanide to extract gold and silver from the ore. He also designed and built seven gold and silver refineries and a silver nitrate production plant. As director of R&D at Geevor PLC's Ecuadorian branch, he created a patented process for using chlorine dioxide to pretreat refractory gold ores. His initial experience includes working as a research chemist at J&J's Permacel Division in New Jersey and, after completing three years of military service, emerging as a Captain. He also worked as a goldsmith, silversmith, and head of refining and alloying at the Artisan's Showcase of Handcrafted Jewelry.

Looking ahead, Mr. Wasas aims to stimulate the continued growth of Standard H2 Inc. and the global adoption of its pollution solutions to save humanity and the environment. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in chemistry, with a minor in business administration, from Rutgers University.
