He serves on the selection committee for UF AI Research Excellence Awards in breakthrough PhD research, alongside some of the brightest AI and deep learning experts from Nvidia's AI Technology Center. Mr. Friedman also endowed the first professorship in AI and machine learning in sports data science and analytics, contributing to advancements that played a role in the university's National Men's Basketball Championship.
