NORTH HAMPTON, NH, March 12, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- William J. Lyons IV, founder of Company 4, was selected by Marquis Who's Who for a prominent feature in the February/March 2026 Boston, Massachusetts, regional issue of Forbes magazine.

Some of the most important lessons driving Mr. Lyons' journey as an entrepreneur are those he learned from basketball. An avid player in high school and college, he was taught the importance of teamwork and communication. Now celebrating nearly 20 years in his career, Mr. Lyons knows that just like on the basketball court, professional projects succeed or fail based on how well everyone involved communicates and works together. This approach is enhanced by the entrepreneurial spirit instilled in him by his father and the love for learning advocated by his mother.

Mr. Lyons' freshman opportunities included working as a marketing assistant at Blackstone Medical Services and a marketing and sales internship with the Naismith Basketball Hall of Fame. He further established himself as a senior account executive in consulting and business development for Altus Marketing and Management, followed by a variety of projects as a business development and marketing strategy consultant and media strategist. In 2012, Mr. Lyons co-founded 15 Things, a forward-thinking marketing company that helped connect brands to social media influencers. He has also contributed as a managing partner in business development for VCT and in business, media development, content and services with Samsung Mobile.

Mr. Lyons founded his current organization, Company 4, in 2017. Through this marketing firm, he works with a diverse team of experts to take on complex projects, from aiding startups to helping major market-leading companies launch new brands. In addition to this venture, Mr. Lyons recently became a partial owner of a festival site near Boston and is invested in an artificial intelligence project in Texas. He remains committed to the sport that started it all for him as well; he is the founder and operations director of the National Hoops Foundation (formerly the National Hoops Academy), a basketball development program that connects talented high school players to colleges and coaches.

In the years ahead, Mr. Lyons is eager to continue Company 4's success and growth, with aspirations of making it a household name in California and the Northeast. He looks forward to working with new partners on exciting challenges.

A LIFELONG BOND
When Mr. Lyons took his first job out of college, he couldn't have guessed that one interview with a current employee would end up changing his life. A young woman conducted the interview, and Mr. Lyons was awarded a coveted position at that time. Little did he know that woman, Ashley, would end up becoming his wife and an inspiration as she started her own jewelry company, Old Soul Vintage Jewelry. Mr. Lyons continues to provide strategic support and consultations, and, aided in small part by his guidance, the business thrives. The couple also has two daughters, whom Mr. Lyons considers the light of his life.

EDUCATIONAL HISTORY
Mr. Lyons' career has been supported by his academic path, beginning with intense collegiate prep work at The Loomis Chaffee School, followed by coursework in psychology-based human relations and economics at Connecticut College from 2005 to 2007. Subsequently, he earned a self-designated bachelor's degree in management and consumer behavior from Worcester Polytechnic Institute (WPI) in 2009. He remains active in the WPI community, especially with the men's basketball program and one of his mentors, coach Chris Bartley.
