Ms. Arias is an attorney, arbitrator, and legal educator whose career spans more than two decades across international commercial arbitration, cross border transactions, contract law, and international human rights and humanitarian law. Growing up in Medellín during a period of social and institutional challenge instilled in her a deep appreciation for justice, institutional reliability, and the rule of law.

In addition to her professional and academic pursuits, Ms. Arias is recognized for her long standing commitment to mentorship. Over the course of her career, she has mentored hundreds of law students and young professionals, many of whom continue to seek her guidance well beyond graduation.
