Ms. Macmillan boasts 30 years of professional experience in nursing. She excels in practicing long-term and cardiac care and, as the newly-appointed director of nursing, is responsible for supervising staff and directing nursing for Winthrop Manor, a nursing home. Prior to earning her current position, she worked as an RN nursing director and spent 10 years with St. Mary's Hospital. For her, the most fulfilling aspect of her work is being able to see patients go home and function independently. She attributes her success to her dedication, her compassion for patients and the support she receives from her colleagues.

A graduate of the University of Maine, Ms. Macmillan received her Associate's Degree in Nursing in 1992. She is currently affiliated with the American Association of Nurse Assessment Coordinators.
