One of his most impactful achievements includes leading a large-scale sustainability initiative in Peru that significantly reduced plastic waste. By designing and implementing a national collection center model, he enabled the recovery of up to 80% of the plastic produced by the plant. He also developed a carbon footprint analysis comparing plastic and glass manufacturing, which was presented to the Peruvian government and contributed to the expansion of national recycling programs.

Mr. Martinez Hernandez holds a Bachelor of Science in Industrial Engineering from Universidad Santa Maria and a Bachelor of Science in Petroleum Engineering from Universidad de Oriente, both completed in Venezuela prior to immigrating to the United States.
