Mr. Butler currently serves as the chief executive officer and co-founder of HireSphere AI, a company he established in 2024. Under his leadership, HireSphere AI has entered its second year, focusing on transforming the hiring process by leveraging data to identify top performers and improve decision-making for both companies and candidates. The platform aims to address inefficiencies in traditional interviews and provide actionable insights for predictive hiring, retention analysis and internal talent identification.

In its early stages, HireSphere AI has already generated revenue and secured a lead investor with a $500,000 commitment for its upcoming seed round. Mr. Butler envisions developing the company over the next five to six years with the goal of positioning it for acquisition by a technology firm or investment fund.

In addition to his work at HireSphere AI, Mr. Butler is also a global talent partner at Potentia Path beginning in 2025, where he contributes to building a broader entrepreneurial ecosystem through Launchpad in Greenville, SC. He is dedicated to connecting candidates and organizations through data-driven solutions that extend beyond hiring decisions to encompass the entire employee lifecycle.

Since 2021, Mr. Butler has owned BTB Consulting LLC, specializing in investment advisory, due diligence, financial advisory and strategy consulting related to artificial intelligence. His consulting practice builds upon his extensive experience providing advisory services across finance and emerging technologies.

From 2022 to 2024, Mr. Butler was the co-founder of Brass Synergy. At Brass Synergy, he applied lessons from the cryptocurrency and Web3 sectors to aggregate opportunities and connect legitimate professionals with traditional business values. The company participated in the InnMind Accelerator under the guidance of chief executive officer Nelli Orlova, winning Best Pitch of the Day and raising over $1 million. Despite generating revenue, Mr. Butler identified challenges in unit economics and market outlook, leading him to dissolve Brass Synergy in August 2024.

Prior to developing Brass Synergy Mr. Butler worked at Bank of America & Merrill Lynch in the Advisor Development program from 2020 - 2021. He began as a relationship manager in 2020 and then transition to a Financial Advisor in 2021. During this period, he managed over $50 million in client retirement funds while earning his Securities Industry Essentials Exam, Series 7 and Series 66 licenses through FINRA. Amid the COVID-19 pandemic, he collaborated with his manager to create a stay-at-home training program. This initiative was rolled out across the Southeast and later nationwide, generating approximately $50 million in revenue and labor cost savings while preserving around 500 jobs.

Between 2016 and 2019, Mr. Butler served as a strategic business adviser, consultant and investor at FCF Enterprises LLC. He explored various industries with a focus on finance and Web3 startups, contributing to projects that experienced rapid growth in user base and market capitalization. His responsibilities included business planning, onboarding, training and managing investor relations.

From 2015 to 2018, Mr. Butler held roles as sales director and head of corporate strategy and development at Financial Education Services Inc., where he developed strategies that increased annual recurring revenue to over $1 million for one of the top-performing teams in the Southeast. He championed new training programs focused on material comprehension, effective communication and team building. Earlier in his career, from 2013 to 2015, Mr. Butler worked as a renovation laborer at Spoken Word Properties LLC before advancing to project management roles during his academic years.

Recognized for his commitment to the field. Mr. Butler is a member of several industry-related organizations, including FINRA, the Corporate Finance Institute® and the Blockchain Council. He has been featured in multiple professional publications and was named among the Top 100 Entrepreneurs and Innovators in 2024.

Mr. Butler earned a Master of Business Administration in entrepreneurship and innovation from Clemson University in 2018. Prior to that, he completed dual undergraduate degrees at Clemson University in 2015: a Bachelor of Business Administration in finance and financial management services and a Bachelor of Arts in pre-law. These academic pursuits provided the foundational knowledge that supported his transition from law aspirations into business strategy, finance and entrepreneurship.

In addition to his formal education, Mr. Butler holds numerous certifications across finance, blockchain technology and data analytics. In 2022, he earned credentials as a certified cryptocurrency trader, certified cryptocurrency expert and certified blockchain expert™ from Blockchain Council. In 2021, he completed the Google Data Analytics Specialization, along with certificates in data visualization, data-driven decision-making, and data preparation through Coursera Inc. His financial licensure includes Series 66 (2021), Series 7 (2021) and Securities Industry Essentials Exam (2020) through FINRA.

Mr. Butler further expanded his technical proficiency between 2019 and 2021 through a series of certifications from the Corporate Finance Institute. His coursework included the Financial Modeling & Valuation Analyst (FMVA) certification, along with specialized training in financial modeling, corporate finance, accounting fundamentals, financial statement analysis, fixed-income fundamentals, budgeting and financial forecasting, business valuation, mergers and acquisitions modeling, business statistics and sensitivity analysis, among others.

Mr. Butler's early interest in entrepreneurship began with lemonade stands on a golf course in childhood and later evolved into real estate renovation work in high school under the mentorship of his father's friend. That experience led him into project management roles by the time he reached college. While attending Clemson University, he pursued small property-flipping projects before shifting his focus from law toward finance, entrepreneurship and consulting. After graduating, he joined Financial Education Services, where he quickly advanced into leadership roles.

Known for his civic involvement, Mr. Butler has remained active in community and mentorship roles for many years. Since 2018, he has served as a business mentor at the Wilbur O. and Ann Powers College of Business at Clemson University, supporting aspiring entrepreneurs. He has also worked as a summer camp counselor at Camp Cherith since 2013 and has served as a drum instructor at Myrtle Beach High School since 2019, helping nurture young musicians.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Butler performed with the steel band & drumline at Clemson University from 2010 to 2015 and served as a drum instructor at Carolina Forest High School from 2010 to 2013. His community involvement also includes fundraising and volunteer work with Relay for Life of Greater Heights from 2007 to 2011, participation in Palmetto Percussion and volunteer service with organizations such as the American Red Cross and Habitat for Humanity through food drives, blood drives and nursing home visits.

Outside his professional endeavors, Mr. Butler enjoys a wide range of activities, including music, marching band, percussion ensembles and outdoor recreation. His interests include wakeboarding, waterskiing, boating, snow skiing, snowboarding, traveling and cruises, as well as his longstanding connection to Camp Cherith.
