Since 2021, she has served as the Online Senior Program Health Care Programs Manager at Bryant & Stratton College, overseeing a comprehensive program spanning four states and 16 campuses, including both online and remote divisions. In this capacity, she manages more than 100 instructors, three full-time faculty administrators, and 14 full-time faculty members, while coordinating efforts for over 10,000 online students.

Dr. Perillo-Okeke's responsibilities include retention at all levels, from instructors to courses and certification pass rates. She is deeply involved in developing her team and working with a diverse range of health care professionals, including Medical Doctors, Doctors of Osteopathic Medicine, Doctors of Chiropractic, Physical Therapists, Occupational Therapists, Nurse Practitioners, Doctors of Nursing Practice, and medical billers and coders. She focuses on teaching pedagogy, rubric use, and course design principles for her colleagues, ensuring her team understands how to engage generational learners and accommodate diverse learning styles.

In her current role, Dr. Perillo-Okeke's most notable achievement was revitalizing the department during a period of low morale, high turnover, and poor student satisfaction. Within six months of her appointment, she implemented a significant hiring initiative and launched professional development workshops that transformed the department's culture. This pivotal experience solidified her commitment to education and supporting student achievement. Over her 16-year tenure at Bryant & Stratton College, she has found it especially rewarding to hear from graduates who share their career successes and how she helped influence their journey.

In addition to her primary role, Dr. Perillo-Okeke has contributed as a digital faculty consultant for McGraw-Hill since 2022. In this position, she provides expertise in digital learning solutions and supports faculty in integrating technology into their curricula. Since 2019, she has also worked as a curriculum developer for Dosser Consulting LLC, where she designs educational materials tailored to the evolving needs of industry professionals.

Dr. Perillo-Okeke's teaching experience extends to Miller-Motte College, where she has served as a medical instructor since 2012. Her earlier roles at Bryant & Stratton College include serving as a senior program director from 2021and as a full-time faculty member from 2010 to 2021. She began her professional journey as a chiropractic assistant at D'Youville College from 2006 to 2007.

A unique aspect of Dr. Perillo-Okeke's career is her self-taught expertise in medical coding and billing. Unlike many doctors who delegate these responsibilities, she personally manages them after dedicating countless hours to studying and passing several rigorous certification exams: certified medical reimbursement specialist, certified coding associate, certified coding specialist-physician, and certified professional coder. She plans to pursue the Certified Professional Biller credential in the near future.

Dr. Perillo-Okeke's Professional affiliations also reflect her commitment to excellence in health care and education. She is an active member of the American Academy of Professional Coders, the American Medical Billing Association, the American Health Information Management Association, the American Chiropractic Association, and the New York State Chiropractic Association.

Academically, Dr. Perillo-Okeke's background has been instrumental in shaping her multifaceted career. She earned a doctorate in chiropractic from D'Youville University in Buffalo in 2009. She served as a chiropractic graduate assistant at D'Youville College, assisting with the program's accreditation and the opening of a chiropractic clinic. She also holds an Associate of Science from SUNY Erie and a Bachelor of Science in psychology from the University at Buffalo.

Throughout her journey, Dr. Perillo-Okeke attributes much of her success to personal ambition, resilience, and the unwavering support of colleagues and family. The encouragement she received from peers during chiropractic school and throughout her tenure at Bryant & Stratton College proved invaluable to her development. In addition, her children remain a constant source of inspiration, motivating her to grow both personally and professionally, while her Christian faith provides steady guidance and perspective through every season of life.

Additionally, Dr. Perillo-Okeke has demonstrated remarkable grit, a strong work ethic, and a growth mindset, reflecting her commitment to continually reaching new heights in both her professional and personal life. Her unique blend of empathy and adaptability equips her to navigate evolving challenges with confidence and purpose, allowing her to connect meaningfully with others while maintaining a forward-focused approach to progress and achievement.

Beyond her professional achievements, Dr. Perillo-Okeke is actively engaged in civic life, serving as president of parent-teacher organizations since her children were in kindergarten, and as a leader of community service initiatives. She serves as a career coach for the Academy of Finance and as a member of the business committee at her son's high school. Her organizational skills benefit the Lancaster Lacrosse foundation where she serves as secretary. Her dedication to education has been recognized with several Faculty of the Year Awards and inclusion in Who's Who Among American High School Students.

In her personal life, Dr. Perillo-Okeke enjoys listening to music, playing sports with her children, and spending time at the park with her dog. She considers motherhood the greatest blessing of her life and takes pride in supporting her sons' educational journeys—particularly assisting her eldest through the college application process.

In the upcoming years, Dr. Perillo-Okeke aspires to become a college dean and open a nonprofit wellness center dedicated to improving overall health and well-being by providing comprehensive care in one location.
