Concurrently, from 2020 to 2023, she was the medical director at NorthStar Anesthesia in Muskogee, Oklahoma. Prior to her leadership roles at NorthStar Anesthesia, Dr. Smay contributed her expertise as a pediatric anesthesiologist at Hillcrest Healthcare System in Tulsa, Oklahoma, from 2019 to 2020. Her credentials include board certification in anesthesiology and pediatric anesthesiology. In addition, she completed the Black Corporate Board Readiness Program in 2024.
