From 2022 to 2024, Mr. Dayal was Vice President of Investment Banking at Mizuho Securities, where he played a key role in expanding the firm's Canadian operations. As an early member of the team, he helped build out investment banking capabilities in Toronto and Calgary, with a focus on the power, utilities, and energy sectors.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Dayal held roles at RBC Capital Markets, including Vice President of Infrastructure Finance in 2022 and Associate of Infrastructure Finance from 2019 to 2021. During this time, he worked on the financing and development of infrastructure assets across Canada, including transportation and transit infrastructure projects, as well as energy and power transmission transactions. He began his career at RBC in capital markets, following internships at CIBC Capital Markets and RBC Investor & Treasury Services, and early experience with the Ontario Ministry of Finance.

Mr. Dayal earned a Master of Business Administration from the University of Toronto's Rotman School of Management in 2019 and a Bachelor of Arts in political science from the University of Waterloo in 2012. He also holds several industry certifications, including the Series 79 and Securities Industry Essentials (SIE) licenses from FINRA, as well as prior certifications from the Canadian Securities Institute.
