LOUISVILLE, KY, March 30, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- John C. Talbott has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. Mr. Talbott, a Louisville native, has built a distinguished career in land development and rezoning law, earning recognition for his expertise and leadership in the legal and real estate industries. He is a founding member of Bardenwerper, Talbott & Roberts, PLLC, where he has worked closely with clients and colleagues on a wide range of projects, including subdivisions, multifamily communities, retail centers, industrial sites and shopping malls. He regularly guides clients through complex entitlement, approval and development processes for major investments and has helped strengthen the firm's reputation in complex land development matters throughout Kentucky.

A highlight of Mr. Talbott's career was receiving the Building Industry Association's highest honor in 2022, the Charles J. Kavanaugh Associate of the Year Award. This distinction is widely recognized throughout Kentucky's building industry.

Before joining his current firm, Mr. Talbott practiced at Boehl Stopher & Graves, LLP from 1994 to 1998, and at Talbott & Talbott from 1999 to 2003. During those years, he developed a strong foundation in real estate law, built lasting relationships with developers, and expanded his practice into zoning and land use matters.

Mr. Talbott earned a Juris Doctor from the Brandeis School of Law at the University of Louisville in 1993, where he served as an editor of the Journal of Law and Education. He also holds a Bachelor of Arts degree from Vanderbilt University. He is a member of the Kentucky Bar Association.

Mr. Talbott remains active in a number of professional organizations. He serves on the Board of the Building Industry Association of Greater Louisville and participates in the land development committee of Greater Louisville Inc. In addition to his professional accomplishments, Mr. Talbott has demonstrated a strong commitment to civic service. He is a former president and board member of Visually Impaired Preschool Services and a former parish council member at St. Brigid Church. He is also a graduate of Leadership Kentucky, Class of 2013.

Mr. Talbott attributes his success to determination, a strong work ethic, and a competitive drive. His interest in law began in college through his involvement with the Honor Council, where he helped students defend themselves against alleged violations.

Outside the office, Mr. Talbott enjoys spending time with his family, playing golf and waterskiing. He is the father of three children. As he looks to the future, he remains committed to supporting his firm's continued growth, serving clients effectively, and advancing land development initiatives throughout Kentucky and Southern Indiana.
