Mr. Lilly's daily responsibilities include meeting with his leadership team to review operational priorities and community marketing activities; coordinating appearances and engagement efforts across multiple locations; visiting two to four restaurant sites each day to assess performance and connect with on-site leaders; and monitoring ongoing construction or renovation projects. He is also actively involved in evaluating facilities to ensure consistent brand standards, engaging with employees at all levels to foster open communication and prioritizing a people-first culture that emphasizes employee engagement and development.

Before founding Lilly Enterprises Inc., Mr. Lilly spent nearly 25 years with McDonald's. He began his journey at 16 in Duncanville, Texas, in 1972, working throughout high school and continuing during his college years under the mentorship of Charlie O'Reilly in Richardson. Over the course of his tenure, Mr. Lilly advanced from manager to supervisor and ultimately to director of operations. In 1997, following Mr. O'Reilly's retirement, Mr. Lilly and his wife were granted the opportunity to become franchisees and opened their first restaurant in Crockett, Texas. Since then, they have expanded their business significantly throughout East Texas.

Throughout his professional journey, Mr. Lilly has been recognized for both operational excellence and community impact. In 2014, he received the Fred L. Turner Golden Arch Award from McDonald's, an honor bestowed on the top 1% of owner-operators within the system for exceptional performance and dedication to community service. He is also a two-time recipient of the Ronald Award from McDonald's in 2001 and 2015 for outstanding marketing initiatives and civic involvement. His company has been named Business of the Year in Athens, Crockett, Palestine and Tyler, Texas. In addition to these accolades, Mr. Lilly was honored as Citizen of the Year by the city of Athens in 2024 for his significant contributions to the local community.

Mr. Lilly's commitment to philanthropy is evident in his establishment, alongside his wife, of a million-dollar endowment for the arts at Trinity Valley Community College. In recognition of their generosity, the college named its fine arts center the Kevin and Jeaneane Lilly Fine Arts Center.

His educational background includes coursework in business administration at The University of Texas at Arlington. This academic foundation provided him with essential knowledge that supported his advancement within McDonald's and later as an entrepreneur overseeing a multi-location enterprise. Mr. Lilly attributes much of his success to observing others' growth within the organization and values McDonald's reputation as an employer that fosters personal development among its workforce.

Civically engaged throughout his career, Mr. Lilly currently serves as president of the Athens Rotary Club. He previously held presidential roles with both the Rotary Club of Crockett and the Rotary Club of Allen, demonstrating a longstanding dedication to service organizations that benefit local communities.

Born in Minneapolis, Mr. Lilly is devoted to both his family and community endeavors. Together with his spouse, Jeaneane Lilly, he has three children: Melody, Marisa and Marc.
