He is the founder and president of the Marin County Track Club, established in 2016, where he oversees all aspects of the organization, including business growth, strategic direction, and team operations. In addition, he leads the club's athletic development, designing and implementing structured training programs for athletes competing across disciplines ranging from track and field to marathon, trail, and ultrarunning events.
Through a highly individualized coaching approach, Mr. Scott develops performance programs tailored to each athlete's goals while fostering a culture centered on connection, accountability, and both mental and physical development.

Under his leadership, Marin County Track Club athletes have achieved podium finishes, race victories, and qualification to Team USA at the World Championships. Notably, two athletes have won the Dipsea Trail Race – the oldest trail race in the United States – while another captured the 10-mile Cherry Blossom Race in 2022.

In parallel with his coaching career, Mr. Scott has held leadership roles in technology and operations. He worked in information technology operations management and strategy at XTaaS in Tiburon from 2020 to 2021, where he contributed to infrastructure enhancement, operational efficiency, and strategic planning. Previously, from 2016 to 2019, he served as a technology program strategist at Early Warning in San Francisco, where he played a key role in the development and implementation of the widely adopted digital payments platform, Zelle.

Over nearly two decades, Mr. Scott has developed extensive experience across leadership, management, entrepreneurship, and large-scale program delivery. His multidisciplinary background provides a unique perspective on organizational development, team performance, and systems-based execution.

Mr. Scott's professional foundation was established during seven years of service in the Royal Air Force in the United Kingdom. During this time, he distinguished himself as a championship-level boxer, reaching the final of the Royal Air Force Regiment Championship in 1992 and going on to win both that title and the Lord Wakefield Championships in 1993. These achievements underscore a longstanding commitment to discipline, resilience, and performance – principles that continue to inform his work today.

In addition to his leadership and coaching roles, Mr. Scott is a World Athletics–accredited athlete representative, serving both USA Track & Field and Athletics Kenya. His expertise extends into mental and physical performance development, where he is recognized for guiding individuals toward sustained progress and high performance. He also holds coaching accreditation from the Road Runners Club of America and Level 1 and Level 2 certifications from the Lydiard Foundation, alongside technical certifications from Cisco and Microsoft.

Committed to continuous learning, Mr. Scott earned a Master of Science in Business Analytics from Golden Gate University in 2024. He also holds a Bachelor of Science in Computer Science from London South Bank University, where he graduated with honors.

Reflecting on his journey, Mr. Scott credits much of his success to the support of his family, whose encouragement has been instrumental throughout his career. His path in athletics began at an early age, participating in both individual and team sports while attending boarding school in England. He excelled in whitewater canoeing in the late 1980s and was selected as team captain following an inter-school championship victory – an early leadership experience that helped shape his trajectory.

Sport has remained a constant throughout his life. He has participated in rock climbing, practiced judo for seven years beginning at age 10, and competed in running both as a primary discipline and as cross-training. This lifelong commitment to performance has influenced both his personal achievements and the development of the athletes he coaches.

Beyond his primary roles, Mr. Scott serves as head coach of the Impala Racing Team, a competitive all-women's running team based in San Francisco, and volunteers as part of the coaching staff at a local high school in Marin County, California. He has also contributed to academic research, co-authoring "The Nexus Between Homelessness and Housing Prices in the San Francisco Bay Area and Throughout the State of California," published in the Science Set Journal of Economics Research in 2024.
