She managed office operations and frequently collaborated with colleagues in Washington, D.C., ensuring seamless communication and workflow across locations. Ms. Yonover's responsibilities included organizing conferences in Colorado and Washington, D.C., where she oversaw event logistics and facilitated productive gatherings for department staff. Ms. Yonover also played a pivotal role during critical moments, such as the COVID-19 pandemic, when she provided essential hard files and resources to ensure continuity of operations.

Among Ms. Yonover's most memorable achievements at the department was her involvement in litigation concerning the reintroduction of wolves to Yellowstone National Park, a case entrusted to her by an attorney in her local office. Before her federal service, Ms. Yonover spent five years as an office staff member at Levitz Furniture, working across three locations in Colorado. There, she developed proficiency in computer systems that would later prove invaluable in her government career.

Ms. Yonover's early professional experience began shortly after earning her undergraduate degree. She worked at a maximum-security juvenile facility in Illinois, where she was responsible for drafting court reports and testifying in cases involving juvenile delinquents. Ms. Yonover's recommendations were eventually adopted by the probation department overseeing her work, reflecting the trust placed in her judgment and dedication to youth rehabilitation.
