Mr. Rodriguez currently serves as the Veterans Services Coordinator at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, a position he has held since 2020. Mr. Rodriguez's leadership has been instrumental in fostering a strong community for veterans on campus and contributing to the Student Veterans Organization.

Before his tenure at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University, Mr. Rodriguez dedicated 20 years to the U.S. Navy, where he achieved distinction as a SEAL Platoon Chief with SEAL Team Three. During his military career, he led the Foxtrot Platoon in the initial invasion of Iraq in 2003 as part of Operation Iraqi Freedom. Following the assault, Mr. Rodriguez played a pivotal role in the March to Baghdad, directing covert operations and engaging in multiple counterinsurgent missions. Upon reaching Baghdad, he was tasked with securing key objectives and provided critical sniper and counter-sniper support to the U.S. Marine Corps. His effectiveness in these roles garnered him the nickname "The Boogie Man" among adversaries.

Throughout his service, Mr. Rodriguez held numerous leadership and instructor positions. He taught Land Warfare, Demolitions and Weapons at Basic Underwater Demolition School (BUD/s) for SEALs and was responsible for developing a Tactical Ground Mobility Department within the Advanced Training Detachment. These roles underscored Mr. Rodriguez's commitment to training and operational excellence within naval special operations.

After retiring from active duty, Mr. Rodriguez continued his public service by joining the Surprise Police Department in Arizona as a Traffic Motorcycle Officer. He quickly became involved with the SWAT team, where his military experience facilitated his advancement to SWAT Team Leader. In this role, Mr. Rodriguez implemented new operational standards that enhanced team efficiency and effectiveness. As the Entry Team Leader, he directed numerous high-risk search warrants and was instrumental in apprehending escaped fugitives, drug cartel associates and violent gang members.

Mr. Rodriguez's academic achievements include earning a Bachelor of Science in Aeronautics, with honors, from the College of Aviation at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University in Prescott, Arizona, in 2018. His career thus far has been distinguished by recognition for both individual valor and organizational leadership, including receipt of the Bronze Star with Combat "V" for valor from the U.S. Navy for his exemplary actions as the Assault Team Leader during an invasion of Iraq in 2003 and two Outstanding Organization Awards for the Student Veterans Organization at Embry-Riddle Aeronautical University between 2022 and 2023, Staff Person of the Year for 2024 at Embry-Riddle, and Military Person of the Year Award 2024. Mr. Rodriguez's professional journey reflects a steadfast commitment to service, leadership and mentorship across military, law enforcement and academic settings.
