Ms. Natova is a process and operations engineering leader. With more than a decade of experience across refining, petrochemicals and hydrogen, she focuses on bringing complex process systems from design into stable industrial operation, where most systems fail.

In 2023, Ms. Natova joined Utility Global, a clean energy technology company focused on producing low-carbon hydrogen from industrial off-gases, during validation of its first-of-a-kind system. She played a central role in advancing the technology from pilot testing through field demonstration and into its first commercial prototype deployment.

Working across process engineering, controls and system integration, she validated performance under real operating conditions, resolved gaps between pilot results and industrial behavior, and translated these insights into design improvements. Her work enabled the evolution of the technology from concept into a viable operating system.

As the technology matured, Ms. Natova took on full operational ownership as Lead Operations Engineer, leading commissioning, startup and early-stage optimization of the commercial facility. She now oversees plant performance and hydrogen production, continuing to refine system behavior and drive the technology toward stable, repeatable operation and broader deployment, supporting the decarbonization of hard-to-abate sectors.

Her work at Utility Global marked a transition from process design into hands-on operational leadership in technology development.

Before relocating to the United States in 2022 after receiving her green card, Ms. Natova built her career in Russia's energy sector.

From 2018 to 2021, Ms. Natova worked at LLC LENNIICHIMMASH in Saint Petersburg, an EPC contractor specializing in petrochemical and refinery project development. There, she worked on modernization of complex processing units under licensed Technip Energies technology, integrating new systems into existing operating facilities under strict technical and regulatory constraints.

From 2013 to 2018, Ms. Natova worked in Ufa, Bashkortostan, at Rosneft, one of the world's largest vertically integrated oil and gas companies, as Lead Process Engineer, responsible for full process scope for refinery projects from early-stage design through detailed engineering. She defined and justified design decisions during formal government reviews, ensuring alignment with safety, environmental and operational requirements. The projects she worked on were approved, built and are now in operation.

Ms. Natova's academic background includes earning a master's degree in chemical engineering through a five-year specialist program at Ufa State Petroleum Technical University in Ufa, Russia, graduating with distinction in 2014. The rigorous training she received provided a strong foundation for her technical expertise and problem-solving abilities throughout her career.

She values work that leads to lasting impact and is willing to pursue it through uncertainty and challenge.

Looking ahead, she focuses on technical and deployment decisions that determine how emerging technologies are implemented at scale.

Outside of her professional work, Ms. Natova supports animal welfare initiatives and organizations focused on inclusive environments for children with disabilities. She is currently establishing a Houston Cinema Club, centered on arthouse films and thoughtful exploration of ideas through discussion. In her personal time, she enjoys pottery, running and tennis.
