ACWORTH, GA, April 15, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Valentin Francisc Nemes has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Nemes currently serves as a senior controls engineer at Interroll Group, a role he has held since 2023. In this capacity he is responsible for developing the sorter controls program, rewriting code, commissioning, testing of new sensors and equipment, designing and setting up testing platforms for different automation processes, programing and setting up HMI's. Mr. Nemes is nearing completion of coding for his latest project and is preparing for large-scale testing. Due to equipment constraints, comprehensive tests with colleagues have been limited. However, the project involves an automated sorter system measuring approximately 300 to 400 feet in length and featuring between 250 and 300 chutes, each directing items to distinct destinations. Since joining his organization, this has been one of Mr. Nemes's most significant recent achievements, a testament to his technical expertise and commitment to advancing automation solutions.

Before joining Interroll Group, Mr. Nemes was a controls engineer at CONVEYCO, a Connecticut-based company that designs and implements material handling systems, from 2022 to 2023. During this period, he contributed to the development and optimization of automated material handling systems, applying his programming skills and knowledge of control systems to enhance operational efficiency.

Between 2021 and 2022, Mr. Nemes worked as a project controls engineer at Vanderlande Industries B.V., where he played an integral role in overseeing project timelines and ensuring the successful implementation of complex automation projects. Earlier, Mr. Nemes excelled as a senior controls engineer at KNAPP AG in Georgia from 2020 to 2021. Here, he was instrumental in designing and deploying sophisticated control systems for logistics and warehouse automation projects for the global provider of intelligent automation solutions.

During the first decade of his career, Mr. Nemes served as a controls engineer at SSI SCHAEFER in North Carolina, following his role as a controls specialist with the Clark County Department of Aviation in Nevada and as a controls engineer at Quality Design Services Inc. in Michigan. He gained extensive experience in developing custom automation solutions for large-scale distribution centers, supported critical infrastructure projects and gained valuable hands-on experience in engineering applications that laid the foundation for his subsequent career growth.

Mr. Nemes's academic background includes a Bachelor of Science in computer science with a minor in electrical engineering from George Emil Palade University of Medicine, Pharmacy, Science and Technology of Târgu Mureș in Romania. His studies in computer engineering were pivotal in shaping his technical abilities and problem-solving approach. Shortly before completing his fourth year of college, Mr. Nemes won the visa lottery, which enabled him to relocate to the U.S, close to Detroit Michigan. After some hard struggles in the area, barely finding any work, he moved to Cape Cod, Massachusetts, for a summer job and some part-time positions. He managed to secure his first engineering position finally and started traveling throughout the U.S. and Canada from one job site to another. This role allowed him to apply the computer engineering skills developed during his education in Romania.

Throughout his career, Mr. Nemes has expanded his expertise beyond computers and programming to include mechanical, electrical and pneumatic systems. Looking ahead, he aims to advance into higher management positions with greater managerial responsibilities while continuing to contribute across all aspects of engineering development. He also seeks opportunities to mentor others by sharing his knowledge and expertise and is interested in pursuing consulting engagements within the industry.
