In addition to her work as an author, Diane Six is a certified yoga teacher whose interest in reflection, mindfulness, and emotional resilience has influenced both her writing and broader platform. Through her books, courses, and community-building work, she is creating resources that help people make sense of difficult life chapters and move forward with greater self-trust.

Diane earned a Bachelor of Arts in English literature from The Ohio State University in 1994, a foundation that continues to inform her voice as a writer and storyteller. She has also pursued professional certifications in yoga, sales, creative development, and project methodology, reflecting a career shaped by both reinvention and lifelong learning.

Her civic involvement is extensive. In 2008, she has volunteered at The Memorial Tournament, hosted by Nationwide. From 1999 to 2004, she was a board member and volunteer with the Juvenile Diabetes Research Foundation in Columbus. Earlier, from 1990 to 1992, she served as a Big Sister with Big Brothers Big Sisters of America. Additionally, she has served on the Arts and Sciences Board of Directors at The Ohio State University.

Born in Steubenville, Diane practices yoga and meditation daily. Diane Six is also devoted to her family, including her husband, three stepchildren and one grandchild.
