KINGWOOD, TX, April 21, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Kathryn Dickinson Gray has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.
Ms. Gray has built a distinguished career in mental health and occupational therapy, with more than three decades of experience supporting individuals and families. Since 2016, she has served as the owner and practitioner at Achieve Fulfillment Counseling Center in Kingwood, Texas, where she provides counseling focused on trauma, addiction recovery and relational healing.
Her work centers on helping individuals and couples understand how the nervous system influences behavior, emotional regulation and communication. By integrating her background in occupational therapy with counseling, EMDR and Imago Relationship Therapy, Ms. Gray supports clients in moving from survival-based patterns toward regulation, connection and lasting change.
Over the course of her career, Ms. Gray recognized that many individuals continue to struggle even after achieving sobriety or beginning therapy, often due to underlying nervous system patterns. In response, she developed Gray's 3™, a practical tool designed to help individuals regulate the nervous system and respond more intentionally in moments of stress and conflict.
Ms. Gray began her professional journey as an occupational therapy assistant in 1992, working across a wide range of medical and clinical settings, including hospitals, rehabilitation units, skilled nursing facilities, home health and pediatric environments. Through this work, she developed a deep understanding of the connection between the body, sensory processing and functional recovery.
Inspired by the connection between sensory processing and emotional well-being, Ms. Gray later pursued a Master of Arts in counseling with a concentration in marriage and family therapy from Sam Houston State University. This transition allowed her to expand her work into trauma-informed care and relational healing. She became certified in EMDR and Imago Relationship Therapy, integrating these approaches with her occupational therapy background to create a more comprehensive and effective model of care.
An educational journey influenced by early experiences of compassion and inclusion, Ms. Gray demonstrated a natural inclination toward helping others from a young age. Her early volunteer work with children with special needs helped shape her commitment to supporting individuals in feeling seen, included and valued.
Throughout her career, Ms. Gray has remained committed to ongoing education and best practices. She is a member of the EMDR International Association (EMDRIA) and the Imago community, reflecting her dedication to continued growth in trauma recovery and relational healing.
Beyond her clinical work, Ms. Gray serves as a board member of J's House Residential Treatment Center in Kingwood, a program supporting boys ages eight to 14. Through this role, she contributes to providing therapeutic support and meaningful experiences that foster growth, connection and resilience.
Ms. Gray works collaboratively with her mother, also a therapist, integrating nervous system regulation with relational communication to support recovery and relationship repair. Together, they present and teach on these topics, helping individuals and couples move toward healthier connection.
Looking ahead, Ms. Gray is currently co-authoring a book with her mother focused on nervous system regulation and relational healing. Through her clinical work, speaking and writing, her goal is to offer hope and direction—helping people understand that they are not broken and that meaningful change and connection are possible.
