Mr. Farber's perspective is shaped by a career spanning both government service and private sector leadership roles. Prior to founding Horsepower Advisors, he held positions focused on security strategy, risk management and large-scale operational environments, building experience across national security, critical infrastructure and global enterprise settings.

He spent 15 years with the United States Secret Service, including serving as branch chief for the Technical Security Division. In this capacity, he managed technical security operations and was recognized with the agency's Valor Award for his actions during the September 11 attacks.

Mr. Farber later served as director of World Trade Center Security at the Port Authority of New York & New Jersey, where he contributed to the site's transition from a recovery effort to an active construction environment and ultimately to a fully operational campus. Having previously responded to the events of September 11, his return to the site marked a significant point in his career.

Building on this experience, Mr. Farber moved into the private sector, serving as senior vice president of safety and security for one of the largest privately held real estate firms in the United States. He then served as global head of security at a premier global investment firm, where he led the development and execution of security strategies across multiple regions, overseeing the protection of assets, personnel and information in a complex and evolving risk environment.

In addition to his professional work, Mr. Farber has remained active in the broader security community through his leadership with InfraGard National Members Alliance, an FBI-affiliated nonprofit focused on protecting critical infrastructure. First appointed to the board in 2021, he was named president in 2022 and chairman in 2023, and was reappointed to a second full term in 2024. In these roles, he has supported collaboration between the public and private sectors on issues related to national security and risk.

Mr. Farber has also been a member of the International Security Management Association since 2017 and serves on the board of TIEGERMAN, an organization focused on education for individuals with language and communication challenges.

His professional accomplishments have been recognized through several honors, including being named one of Security Director News' "20 Under 40" in 2014, as well as receiving the United States Secret Service Valor Award.

He continues to focus on helping organizations better understand how their environments function, identify risk and build security programs that support long-term operational performance.
