CENTENNIAL, CO, April 24, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Chad S. Finnigan has been selected for inclusion in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Marked by 25 years of success and counting in the technology sector, Mr. Finnigan currently serves as an IT executive at QXO Inc., a public company headquartered in Greenwich, Connecticut, that specializes in building materials, construction supplies, drywall and lumber. In his leadership capacity, he oversees information technology, cybersecurity and enterprise applications to streamline operations and reduce technical risks.

Mr. Finnigan joined the organization when it operated as Kodiak Building Partners and has been pivotal in ensuring its successful transition to QXO Inc. This significant change marked the end of the Kodiak brand and its network of 40 operating companies, many of which were longstanding local businesses. Under his leadership, the company has focused on integrating these entities into a unified QXO brand while maintaining a commitment to empowering local leaders and honoring the legacy of each business.

Prior to the transition to QXO, Mr. Finnigan held his senior vice presidential title at Kodiak Building Partners from 2024 to 2026. During this period, he played a key role in managing technology operations and cybersecurity initiatives across the organization's diverse portfolio of companies.

As vice president of technology operations at Vertafore — a leading software-as-a-service (SaaS) provider based in Denver, Colorado — from 2022 to 2023, Mr. Finnigan was responsible for overseeing technology infrastructure and implementing cloud operations within a fast-paced SaaS environment.

From 2019 to 2022, Mr. Finnigan contributed to Lumen Technologies — formerly known as CenturyLink — as the senior director of application modernization. Successfully spearheading efforts to modernize critical business applications and reduce major incidents, he was recognized for his leadership with the Clarke M. Williams Award in 2020.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Finnigan spent three years as associate vice president of application hosting services at CommonSpirit Health, where he built and maintained relationships with clinicians, business leaders and physicians and improved service delivery for one of the nation's largest health care systems.

Working as an information technology consultant at Ciber in Greenwood Village, Colorado, from 2015 to 2016, Mr. Finnigan provided strategic guidance on global support solutions and led efforts to consolidate three London-based offices into one flagship operation.

From 2012 to 2015, Mr. Finnigan excelled as the senior director of data center and infrastructure operations at IHS Markit (now part of S&P Global), following his tenure as director of hosting operations from 2009 to 2012 and director of global customer support from 2002 to 2009. He began his journey with the company as a technical services manager, going on to earn the James Goldbeck Award in recognition of his compassionate and reliable leadership qualities.

Mr. Finnigan gained foundational working experience during five years as a personal trainer and physical therapy assistant. These roles not only shaped his approach to leadership but also became the place where he first met his future wife, an occupational therapist, and was inspired to pursue further education.

Hailing from an equally accomplished academic background, Mr. Finnigan earned a bachelor's degree in network systems administration from DeVry University in 2001 after completing an associate degree in sports medicine at the same institution in 1997.

Highly regarded for his expertise in information technology and cybersecurity, Mr. Finnigan is actively involved in professional organizations such as the Society for Information Management (SIM), where he is serving his third year on the board of the Colorado chapter and chairs SIMNext — a subgroup dedicated to supporting emerging information technology (IT) leaders. Through this role, he has connected numerous professionals within Denver's vibrant IT community, fostering growth and mentorship opportunities that reflect his commitment to giving back to the industry that has supported him over the past 25 years.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Finnigan gives back to his community as a board advisor for nonprofit organizations and actively participates in fundraising efforts such as volunteering as an MS150 rider for the Multiple Sclerosis Foundation and Ride for Reading events. He also engages in volunteer efforts with his nondenominational church.

Happily married for 25 years and a proud father of two sons in high school, Mr. Finnigan enjoys spending time with his family and maintains an active lifestyle through hobbies such as golf, mountain biking and snowboarding.

Reflecting on his storied journey to date, Mr. Finnigan attributes much of his success to the exceptional mentors who have guided him along the way and credits formative experiences at Catholic Health Initiatives — where reverence and mutual respect were core values — for shaping his people-first philosophy. He takes pride in maintaining a robust professional network built on mutual respect and collaboration, always happy to share his knowledge and help others through everything he does.
