He developed a comprehensive portfolio of offerings supporting developers, utilities, and independent power producers across the full project lifecycle, from early-stage development through construction, commissioning, and long-term performance engineering. The division delivered technology-enabled service solutions leveraging AI-based platforms to maximize energy asset performance for energy storage projects nationwide.

For the preceding three years, Mr. Sharma served as Senior Director of Renewables and Energy Storage at Vistra Corp., where his leadership was instrumental in building the company's clean energy development organization and overseeing large-scale projects integrating renewable resources with advanced storage technologies. He is particularly proud of his contributions to the world's largest battery energy storage system, the Moss Landing Energy Storage Facility in California, boasting a capacity of 750MW/3GWh, a milestone that underscores his commitment to advancing grid resilience and the clean energy transition.

Between 2018 and 2021, Mr. Sharma served as Senior Manager of System Protection Engineering at Oncor Electric Delivery, after spending seven years as Senior Manager of Project Management and Construction at Entergy, where he directed the full EPC lifecycle for transmission and substation infrastructure across the Gulf States region. His leadership career was built on a strong engineering foundation, having begun his professional journey as an electrical engineer specializing in power systems, protection, and grid studies, experience that continues to inform his technical judgment and executive decision-making to this day. Throughout his career, he has also been an active contributor to the North American Electric Reliability Corporation, participating in the development of reliability standards that have meaningfully strengthened grid operations across the industry. His forward-thinking work with technology companies in the energy space, well before their impact on power infrastructure became widely acknowledged, demonstrates his ability to anticipate industry shifts and drive meaningful change.

Mr. Sharma's academic foundation includes a Bachelor of Science in Electrical Engineering and a Master of Business Administration from Louisiana State University E.J. Ourso College of Business. He further holds a Project Management Professional certification from the Project Management Institute and is a Licensed Professional Engineer through the Texas Board of Professional Engineers and Land Surveyors.
