SAN ANTONIO, TX, April 27, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Jacob Hugentobler has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Hugentobler has established himself as an expert in Social Security Disability law, currently serving as a Social Security hearing attorney at Packard Law Firm since 2020. In this capacity, he reviews approximately 25 clients' medical records each month to identify compelling evidence of disability, crafts persuasive arguments for presentation before Social Security Administration administrative law judges and maintains consistent communication with clients during their live phone hearings. His responsibilities also include managing a staggered workflow that balances case preparation with active hearings, ensuring a continuous monthly cycle of case development and representation.

Through ongoing learning and experience, Mr. Hugentobler has improved his advocacy skills, achieving and aiming to sustain an approximate 70% case win rate. Among his most significant professional achievements is his work on behalf of a client who suffered severe nerve damage and disability following a failed back surgery.

Despite initial setbacks, including a denial of Social Security disability benefits after presenting compelling evidence before a judge, Mr. Hugentobler persevered by taking the case to federal court. Demonstrating compassion and dedication, he personally assisted his client in attending hearings and ultimately secured the benefits that had been denied for years. This milestone stands as a testament to Mr. Hugentobler's commitment to excellence and advocacy for those facing adversity.

Prior to joining Packard Law Firm, Mr. Hugentobler spent three months in 2020 as a full-time father while daycares were closed due to the COVID-19 pandemic. Before this period, he worked as an attorney at Holliday Energy Law Group from 2019 to 2020, where he began his legal career as a title attorney at an oil and gas firm. The downturn in oil prices led to the firm's bankruptcy and subsequent layoffs, prompting Mr. Hugentobler to seek new opportunities.

In 2019, Mr. Hugentobler served as a law clerk at The Carey Law Firm, gaining valuable experience in legal research and case preparation. That same year, he was a student legal intern at the Office of the Texas Governor, where he contributed to public policy initiatives and honed his understanding of governmental processes.

During his academic tenure, Mr. Hugentobler held several positions that enriched his legal education and practical skills. He was a student representative for LexisNexis from 2017 to 2018, providing support for legal research tools to fellow students. In 2018, he worked as a summer law clerk at Plunkett & Griesenbeck Inc., further developing his expertise in legal analysis. Additionally, he served as a student legal intern at the Texas A&M Law Clinic in 2018 and at the Offices of the United States Attorneys within the United States Department of Justice in 2017.

Before embarking on his legal career, Mr. Hugentobler gained administrative experience as an assistant at Cathedral School of St. Mary in Austin, Texas, from 2014 to 2016. There, he played a pivotal role in improving compliance with state vaccination documentation requirements by leveraging his proficiency with computer programs to raise the school's compliance rate from approximately 60% to full compliance over two years. His attention to detail and ability to engage confidently with state officials were instrumental in passing state audits.

Earlier in his career, Mr. Hugentobler served as scoring supervisor for North America at Pearson in 2014. Prior to that, he worked as an office assistant to the registrar at Keystone School from 2012 to 2014. In 2013, he also gained experience as a library assistant at Trinity University.

Mr. Hugentobler is an active member of several professional organizations, including the State Bar of Texas, San Antonio Bar Association and Construction Law Association. He is also a member of the American Bar Association and the Federal Bar Association. Additionally, he participates in organizations focused on disability advocacy, including NOSSCR, Advocates, Counselors & Representatives For The Disabled and the Texas Aggie Bar Association.

Education has been foundational to Mr. Hugentobler's success. He earned a Juris Doctor with a concentration in domestic public policy from Texas A&M University School of Law in Fort Worth in 2019. During his time there, he distinguished himself as articles editor for the Texas A&M Journal of Property Law from 2017 to 2019 and received honors for excellence in professionalism and leadership upon graduation. He also achieved seventh place statewide in the Paper Chase Legal Writing Competition in 2018.

Mr. Hugentobler's academic journey began with a bachelor's degree in secondary education from Trinity University in San Antonio in 2013. His initial aspiration was to become a high school or middle school history teacher; however, after encountering challenges during his first year teaching, he redirected his career path toward law.

In addition to his formal education, Mr. Hugentobler also holds several certifications that strengthen his legal research expertise, including essential and transactional research certifications from Thomson Reuters, both awarded in 2018, and a professional research certification from LexisNexis, awarded in 2017. He is admitted to practice law in Texas and before the United States District Courts for the Western, Eastern, Southern and Northern Districts of Texas.

Throughout his life and career, Mr. Hugentobler has drawn inspiration from personal experiences with disability, both within his family and through his own medical challenges, which have deepened his empathy for clients navigating complex medical-legal issues.

Beyond his professional endeavors, Mr. Hugentobler's commitment extends beyond professional obligations into civic engagement. He volunteers as a groundskeeper at Walker Ranch Reservoir and serves as a volunteer attorney at The Multi-Assistance Center at Morgan's Wonderland.

Mr. Hugentobler's dedication has been recognized through multiple honors. These include acknowledgment for conducting his thousandth Social Security Administration hearing at Packard Law Firm in 2025, receiving awards for excellence in professionalism and leadership from Texas A&M University School of Law, and achieving seventh place statewide in the Paper Chase Legal Writing Competition.

Outside his professional life, Mr. Hugentobler enjoys spending time with family, solving puzzles, playing billiards and watching National Football League games. As a father of two children, he values quality time with loved ones above all else. Looking ahead, Mr. Hugentobler aims to assist many more clients in obtaining Social Security disability benefits through federal courts — continuing his legacy of advocacy marked by excellence, compassion and integrity throughout every aspect of his work and life.
