An accomplished listee, Mr. Edelblute celebrates many years' experience in his professional network and has been noted for achievements, leadership qualities, and the credentials and successes he has accrued in his field. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Mr. Edelblute currently serves as the senior library services manager for user support services at Anaheim Public Library, a position he has held since 2015. Over the past decade, he has been supervising library automation operations, overseeing collection support, managing circulation services, administering budgets and ensuring safety across the library system. His expertise in library automation is widely recognized, and he is praised for his ability to lead technological advancements that benefit both staff and patrons. Mr. Edelblute is also actively involved in collaborative projects with Anaheim Public Works, including the ongoing revamp of air-conditioning systems in several branch libraries, demonstrating his commitment to continual improvement and innovation.

Before his leading role, Mr. Edelblute served as a library technology systems administrator at Anaheim Public Library from 2014 to 2015. During this period, he managed the integration and maintenance of complex technology systems, ensuring seamless access to digital resources for the community. Mr. Edelblute's tenure with the library also included his role as a public access systems coordinator, between 2001 and 2014. He was instrumental in advancing public computing infrastructure and expanding digital access during this time throughout the library network. One of his most notable achievements occurred during the 2005-2006 Haskett Branch Library renovation project. As the lead on technology planning, Mr. Edelblute oversaw the transition from a 7,000-square-foot building to a new 24,000-square-foot facility. He meticulously planned the placement of electrical and cable outlets throughout the new space, ensuring maximum flexibility and adaptability for future technological needs.

Mr. Edelblute began his tenure at the Anaheim Public Library from 1998 to 2001 as a reference and technology librarian. Earlier in his career, Mr. Edelblute excelled as a systems librarian at United States International University from 1994 to 1998. His journey into library automation began earlier while working in the acquisitions department on campus between 1993 and 1994. Initially purchasing books for the library and using his computer skills as a hobby for basic repairs, Mr. Edelblute was offered the systems librarian position on the condition that he could successfully network CD-ROM databases to a dozen personal computers on the reference desk floor—a challenge he accomplished with a colleague and maintained for four years.

Mr. Edelblute's professional path began as a library assistant I at the University of Missouri-Columbia from 1990 to 1993. This foundational experience provided him with valuable insights into library operations and patron service.

After building a networked system in San Diego, he pursued additional credentials, including CompTIA computer technology certifications and project management training through Villanova University to further strengthen his planning abilities. Among other credentials, Mr. Edelblute acquired a CIW web design specialist credential from Certified Internet Web Professional (now Certification Partners).

Active in his professional sphere, Mr. Edelblute is a member of such organizations as the American Library Association, the California Library Association, and the International Federation of Library Associations and Institutions. These affiliations have enabled him to remain at the forefront of industry trends by observing best practices from other libraries and businesses while staying current with new tools entering the market.

Mr. Edelblute attributes his success to the exceptional support he has received from colleagues and mentors throughout his career. This factor continues to influence his approach as he mentors emerging staff members and supports the next generation of librarians within the system. Mr. Edelblute hopes to be remembered as someone who always did his best, acknowledging both successes and failures but consistently putting forth full effort into every challenge encountered throughout his distinguished career.
