As the business grew, it experienced both expansion and challenges, reaching approximately 14 employees by 2017.

Today, Sentry Security Solutions employs 13 in-house staff members and manages a network of 20 to 30 independent contractors across the United States. Mr. McAmis remains actively involved in day-to-day operations, particularly with large client accounts, while delegating routine management to a general manager and field supervisor.

Under Mr. McAmis' leadership, Sentry Security Solutions has achieved significant milestones in both size and revenue. He is especially proud that Security Dealer Magazine is expected to recognize his company among the top 100 security companies in the nation, a notable accomplishment given there are approximately 52,000 such firms in the United States.

Mr. McAmis's expertise in providing tailored solutions and building lasting relationships has been instrumental in this success. He is an active member of several industry organizations, including the Electronic Security Association, the North Texas Alarm Association, the Texas Burglar and Fire Alarm Association and AIN.

Prior to founding Sentry Security Solutions, Mr. McAmis served as the director of operations at Devcon Security Services from 2011 to 2012. In this capacity, he played a pivotal role in opening about 30 branches nationwide and ensuring they were properly staffed. His tenure concluded when ADT acquired Devcon Security Services and eliminated his position.

From 1999 to 2011, Mr. McAmis held numerous roles at Brinks Home Security with his last role being general manager. He initially joined Brinks Home Security after responding to a newspaper advertisement, viewing it as just another job opportunity at first. However, his growing interest in the field led him to pursue a long-term career in security services. During his time at Brinks Home Security, he gained valuable experience that would later inform his approach as a business owner.

Mr. McAmis' career trajectory was shaped by pivotal moments following corporate acquisitions that resulted in position eliminations at both Brinks Home Security and Devcon Security Services. These experiences inspired him to establish Sentry Security Solutions with a vision that any future acquisition would benefit both himself and his employees.

Beyond his professional achievements, Mr. McAmis is committed to civic engagement and philanthropy. He volunteers and donates through Sentry Cares, a nonprofit associated with Sentry Security Solutions that partners with local police departments and shelters to assist battered single mothers by donating security systems free of charge to ensure their safety.

Additionally, Mr. McAmis serves on the steering committee for Getting Ahead, Bridges Out of Poverty Harvest House, a 26-week program featuring community leaders who help participants develop strategies for overcoming poverty.

Mr. McAmis' contributions have been recognized through nominations, including being voted among the "20 Under 40" by Security System News. His creative pursuits include acting roles in television series created by Taylor Sheridan: one episode of "Landman" and two episodes of "Lioness."

Born in Fort Worth, Mr. McAmis enjoys music as a guitarist and singer and continues to explore acting opportunities on screen. Looking ahead, he plans for Sentry Security Solutions to pursue multiple acquisitions within the sector as part of its ongoing growth strategy.
