As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Mason is a distinguished healthcare executive specializing in enterprise patient access, contact center strategy, ambulatory operations, and large-scale performance transformation. With more than two decades of experience, she has consistently demonstrated the ability to lead complex, multi-site operations, modernize access technology, implement innovative workforce models, and cultivate culture-centered teams that drive both patient experience and operational excellence.

In 2023, Ms. Mason was appointed Executive Director of the Patient Access Contact Center at Cedars-Sinai. In this role, she oversees enterprise access strategy, workforce management, and systemwide scheduling operations. She partners closely with clinical and operational leaders to expand centralized access services across more than 50 service lines, supporting over one million patient interactions annually. Her leadership has been instrumental in advancing the organization's telephony modernization through Genesys, integrating CHEERS technology, strengthening workforce analytics, and establishing governance for scheduling templates. She continues to lead the expansion of the Patient Access Contact Center, with a focus on unifying operations and advancing equitable access to care across the health system.

Beyond her executive role, Ms. Mason co-leads the Inclusive Access Cohort for the Patient Access Collaborative and is the creator and facilitator of the Learning Ladder Leadership Series, a program she launched in 2021 to support leadership development through shared experience and reflection.

Prior to her current position, Ms. Mason served as Director of Patient Access at Cedars-Sinai from 2022 to 2023, where she led the transformation of a small primary care call center into a centralized, enterprise-wide operation. Under her leadership, the center expanded from approximately 15 agents to more than 200 team members, supporting over 30 clinics across 60 locations and managing nearly 1.4 million calls annually. She successfully integrated scheduling operations across medical group and faculty practices, standardized workflows and referral processes, and introduced performance frameworks that significantly improved patient access.

From 2020 to 2022, Ms. Mason served as Director of Medical Specialties at Cedars-Sinai. She previously held roles as Senior Operations Manager from 2018 to 2020 and Operations Manager from 2016 to 2018. During this time, she oversaw internal medicine, cardiology, neurology, and other specialty practices across multiple coastal locations. Her leadership contributed to significant network growth, expanding operations from four offices to more than 12 clinics while enhancing operational efficiency, patient flow, and care delivery models.

Ms. Mason began her career with Kaiser Permanente, where she served from 2006 to 2016 in progressively responsible leadership roles. As an Assistant Department Administrator, she oversaw surgical scheduling, anesthesia services, and pain management operations. She later advanced to Department Administrator, where she managed surgical scheduling for approximately 30 operating rooms and more than 1,600 cases per month across multiple specialties. She also led pre-admission operations and expanded her scope to include pain management services, increasing both operational complexity and budget responsibility. In her final role, she contributed to the establishment of a Medical Specialty Office in Glendale, California, overseeing multiple specialties, more than 25 staff members, and 15 providers, while improving access management and operational performance.

Ms. Mason holds a bachelor's degree in business management from the University of Phoenix and an Executive Master of Health Administration from the University of Southern California. Her professional development includes recognition as an Improvement Advisor through Kaiser Permanente's Wave 7 Academy, certification in negotiation simulation from USC's Price School of Public Policy, and certification as a Lean instructor through Cedars-Sinai Daily Engagement methodologies.

Professionally, Ms. Mason serves as a board member and Executive Director for Talking Angels, a nonprofit organization supporting patients and families in their cancer journey, since 2018.
Her contributions have been recognized with several honors, including the Access Award from Kaiser Permanente in 2011 and the Learning Ladder Outstanding Leadership Salon Award in 2021. She attributes her success to resilience, continuous growth, and a deep commitment to serving others.

Throughout her career, Ms. Mason has remained dedicated to empowering individuals through authentic, people-centered leadership. She believes that while technical skills can be taught, true leadership lies in helping others discover purpose and potential. Looking ahead, she plans to pursue a doctoral degree to further expand her impact, with the goal of teaching and mentoring future healthcare leaders through academic institutions such as the University of Southern California and Pepperdine University.
