Mr. Howard previously served as a senior consultant at the same firm from 2018 to 2019, further honing his skills in project management and client relations.

Mr. Howard's professional journey is deeply rooted in his military service. He retired from the United States Marine Corps in 2018 as a lieutenant colonel after 28 years of service. His final military assignment was as deputy director and executive officer of the recruit training regiment in California between 2016 and 2018.

Earlier in his military career, Mr. Howard served as the director of logistics for the United States Marine Corps in Florida from 2013 to 2016 and as a senior logistics manager in North Carolina between 2010 and 2013. Previously, he was the division director at the United States Indo-Pacific Command in Hawaii from 2008 to 2010 and director of operations at the same command between 2007 and 2008. Among his accolades is recognition as joint action officer of the quarter by the United States Indo-Pacific Command (J4).

At the outset of his career, Mr. Howard pursued higher education. He earned a Bachelor of Arts in biology from the University of North Carolina at Greensboro in 1993. He later obtained a Master of Science in business administration and management from Central Michigan University in 2001. In 2007, he earned a master's degree in military operational art and science studies from the Marine Corps University. That same year, Mr. Howard completed coursework in Joint Professional Military Education II at the Joint Forces Staff College, a part of the National Defense University.

Mr. Howard has also earned a range of certifications that strengthen both his leadership and technical expertise. In 2020, he completed a certificate in biotechnology project management from the University of Washington. Earlier, between 2018 and 2019, he obtained multiple credentials through LinkedIn Corporation, covering areas such as quality management foundations, business intelligence for consultants, leadership development, sustainability strategies, executive presence and supply chain management.

In addition to these achievements, Mr. Howard has pursued specialized training in program and operational excellence. His credentials include program management certification from Syracuse University, as well as qualifications as a ground safety officer and a Lean Six Sigma Green Belt.

Throughout his career, Mr. Howard has been an active member of industry organizations, including APICS and the San Diego Military Advisory Council. His commitment to supporting veterans is evident through his involvement with Biocom, where he advocates for veteran causes and volunteers with groups dedicated to assisting veterans' transitions into civilian careers, particularly within the life sciences sector. He frequently delivers presentations to military members about exploring opportunities in biotechnology.

Born in Anderson, Mr. Howard values faith and a strong personal foundation as guiding principles throughout his life and career. He credits his achievements to clear goal-setting across financial, spiritual and professional domains; identifying obstacles; creating actionable roadmaps; and valuing enduring relationships over transactional connections.

Outside of his professional commitments, Mr. Howard enjoys reading, working out, exercising, playing basketball and supporting his children's extracurricular activities, including robotics.
