As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Ms. Wasserman has established herself as a distinguished leader in executive coaching, talent management, organizational transformation and leadership development, with a career spanning more than three decades. As the chief executive officer of Growth Curve since 2006, she has provided advisory services to senior executives, boards and C-suite teams across corporate America, including sectors such as STEM, professional services, global financial firms and specialty retail.

Known for her innovative methods and frameworks, Ms. Wasserman has enabled organizations to develop mid-level and senior leader/c-level talent effectively and align around transformative initiatives. Her work is characterized by her hands-on engagement with leaders navigating high-stakes transitions into complex roles, often involving significant organizational change.

Ms. Wasserman's most notable achievement centers on the impact she has had on the executives she advises and the leadership teams she coaches. One of her proudest moments involved working with the chief executive officer of a publicly traded energy company during a merger. Through their collaboration, the executive regained agency and empowerment, ultimately making decisions that positively influenced an organization of 10,000 people including setting in motion a long overdue succession process that enabled executives to transition into opportunities that allowed them to make the impact they were ready to make, extending those opportunities to their teams. Ms. Wasserman regards these ripple effects as the ultimate measure of her success.

In addition to her role at Growth Curve, Ms. Wasserman served as an executive and team coach at UCLA Anderson School of Management from 2014 to 2023. In this capacity, she supported leadership development for students and professionals, further cementing her reputation as an expert in business and organizational psychology, leadership development and executive coaching.

From 2009 to 2012, Ms. Wasserman contributed her expertise at Amgen in Southern California as an external partner in talent management and leadership development consulting, helping the global company implement more systemic development for its next generation of leaders.

Prior to her tenure at Amgen, Ms. Wasserman held a pivotal position at Gap Inc. in San Francisco from 2003 to 2006 as center of excellence leader of executive development within the people and organization division. She began with Gap Brand during a critical period of brand turnaround, focusing on transformative changes to business process redesign, culture and the senior leadership team.

Ms. Wasserman's success led to an enterprise-wide role developing leadership pipelines aligned with strategic growth through new brands, channels and market expansion. Collaborating with Stephen Drotter, author of "Leadership Pipeline," she ensured leaders were better prepared for increasingly complex responsibilities.

Earlier in her career, Ms. Wasserman was senior project manager for management consulting and change practice at CherryRoad Technologies Inc. in the San Francisco Bay Area from 2001 to 2003. She also served as human resources organization development manager at Dimension Data (formerly Proxicom) between 1999 and 2000, experiencing the dot-com boom and bust. Prior to that, she worked in two prestigious, global senior human capital firms as a consultant. More recently at Towers Watson in both Chicago and San Francisco from 1998 to 1999, and as a total rewards design and executive succession planning consultant at AON Hewitt in the Greater Chicago Area from 1997 to 1999.

Ms. Wasserman began her professional journey as a project manager at Celerity Consulting Group in the San Francisco Bay Area from 1992 to 1995. Alongside her corporate roles, she has maintained a longstanding commitment to health and fitness as a fitness instructor and wellness professional. She founded a side business called 40-50 Fit — later rebranded as 80-20 Fit — focusing on women's health and fitness across the lifespan.

As a commitment to her field, Ms. Wasserman maintains active membership with the Consortium for Change, Association of Corporate Executive Coaches™ and the International Coaching Federation. Notably, her contributions have been recognized with honors, including the Most Adaptive Award from Gap Inc. in 2005.

Ms. Wasserman's academic background has been foundational to her achievements. She earned a Master of Arts in human resources and industrial relations, with concentrations in organizational effectiveness and labor economics, from the Carlson School of Management at the University of Minnesota in 1997. She also completed master's coursework in economics at The Vienna University of Economics and Business that same year. Her undergraduate studies culminated in a Bachelor of Arts in economics and communications from the University of Arizona in 1991.

Reflecting on her career, Ms. Wasserman attributes her success to persistence and a strong belief in personal agency. Committed to empowering others, she encourages individuals to take ownership, stay accountable and recognize their ability to shape better outcomes in their careers, relationships and lives.

Beyond her professional pursuits, Ms. Wasserman is actively engaged in civic initiatives and community service. Since 2022, she has been a member of the Consortium for Change in Los Angeles and serves as a career development specialist for Biocom. She has been an ambassador for Children's Hospital Los Angeles (CHLA) since 2015, and has also raised funds as a triathlete in the Nautica Malibu Triathlon benefiting CHLA.

Ms. Wasserman's commitment extends to serving on the workplace equity committee for human and civil rights with the Women's Political Committee in Los Angeles since 2014. She has also been contributing to fitness and wellness initiatives through SHWellness & Fitness since 2010 and has experience volunteering for career development programs at the Anderson School of Management at the University of California, Los Angeles.

Born in the Midwest portion of the United States, Ms. Wasserman enjoys practicing health and fitness, physical training, travel, running on the Pacific coast, cooking, cheering on her son at his sports activities and supporting her daughter in her astrophysics endeavors. She is also experienced at living in different cultures — including London, Barcelona and Vienna — and enjoys the outdoors and skiing. Her passion for travel is closely tied to her concern for environmental issues; many journeys are motivated by a desire to understand global environmental challenges.

Looking ahead, Ms. Wasserman plans to publish her first book titled "High Stakes," aimed at business professionals stepping into high-impact roles across all industry sectors, including biotech, healthcare, energy, professional services, education, technology, consumer goods, nonprofits, and other corporations. The book draws on research-based concepts applicable to diverse audiences seeking effective leadership strategies in transformative times driven by advances in artificial intelligence. She also intends to expand her public speaking engagements to share insights into coaching success and team engagement strategies she has implemented throughout her career.
