BORDENTOWN, NJ, May 11, 2026 /24-7PressRelease/ -- Todd Michael Kassabian has been included in Marquis Who's Who. As in all Marquis Who's Who biographical volumes, individuals profiled are selected on the basis of current reference value. Factors such as position, noteworthy accomplishments, visibility, and prominence in a field are all taken into account during the selection process.

Drawing on 32 years of professional experience, Mr. Kassabian is a sought-after expert in mechanical engineering, product development and automation. Since 2020, he has served as a mechanical engineer at Keystone Plastics Inc. in South Plainfield, New Jersey. In this role, he specializes in the design and construction of custom automation and product development, with a focus on manufacturing plastic components, including machinery for street sweeper brooms. Mr. Kassabian's ascent to leadership began with humble beginnings, and throughout his career, he has assumed increasingly responsible roles through comprehensive, hands-on, lived experience.

Mr. Kassabian is largely self-taught, having gained extensive knowledge through decades of field experience and self-directed learning rather than through traditional academic training. His resilience, for which he is known, was forged by early-life adversity; as time passed, his natural inclination to disassemble items led him into manufacturing and automation. He was also inspired by his drum teacher and mentor, renowned drummer Dom Famularo, whose philosophy on motivation and self-expression redefined Mr. Kassabian's approach to his career.

To this end, Mr. Kassabian adopted his own belief that intention is paramount and that obstacles should not halt progress – values he has consistently demonstrated throughout his life. "Have a plan, but do not get discouraged when it goes off course, because that is life," Mr. Kassabian emphasizes. He continues, "What matters is making sure you end up where you want to be."

To this end, Mr. Kassabian has distinguished himself through innovation and technical achievement. He holds four patents, with the most notable being the DW 9000 bass drum pedal, a mechanically distinctive design developed at Mr. Famularo's suggestion. Licensed exclusively to Drum Workshop, the largest American drum company, the DW 9000 achieved international distribution in 30 countries and generated royalties for two decades. It remains a landmark achievement, noted for its durability and versatility across both acoustic and electronic drum sets.

Prior to joining Keystone Plastics, Mr. Kassabian held positions as a toolmaker and machinist, responsible for translating engineering concepts into tangible products, constructing designs devised by other engineers, and progressively assuming responsibility for designing his own equipment. His responsibilities demanded expertise in machining, fabrication and assembly, enabling him to oversee projects independently without outsourcing any phase of the production process. Previously, he served as a specialist in custom welding and fabrication. During this period, he collaborated with a New York-based subcontractor to manufacture specialized components for racecars and pharmaceutical equipment. His proficiency in high-end welding and fabrication earned him a reputation for precision and innovation within rigorous technical environments.

Mr. Kassabian's path to professional success is marked by resilience and self-reliance. Born in Syosset, Long Island, he completed formal schooling halfway through the 10th grade before entering the workforce out of necessity at age 15. Early employment included positions such as dishwasher, before he transitioned into the mechanical trades under the influence of his brother's work in heating, ventilation, and air conditioning and sheet metal.

Beyond his professional commitments, Mr. Kassabian is an accomplished craftsman who designs and builds custom furniture, including clocks, dining tables, lamps and nightstands. Among his most distinctive creations is a "family house" lamp constructed entirely from five-by-seven picture frames, featuring a three-dimensional family tree that displays photographs on its roof and sides.

Mr. Kassabian is a devoted parent who continues to support his children's personal and academic pursuits, remaining actively engaged in encouraging advanced study in specialized fields. Looking ahead, he intends to develop additional products for the woodworking industry, continuing to oversee each project from conception through completion with the same dedication that has defined his career.
