His responsibilities demanded expertise in machining, fabrication and assembly, enabling him to oversee projects independently without outsourcing any phase of the production process. Previously, he served as a specialist in custom welding and fabrication. Born in Syosset, Long Island, he completed formal schooling halfway through the 10th grade before entering the workforce out of necessity at age 15.
