Prior to her entrepreneurial endeavors, Ms. Warren dedicated 20 years to the U.S. Air Force Nurse Corps, achieving the rank of major from 1978 to 1998. Her military service was characterized by leadership and resilience, with deployments that included assignments from North Carolina to Japan. During these years, Ms. Warren balanced the demands of active duty with family responsibilities, utilizing her background in nursing and anesthesia to serve both her country and her patients.

Ms. Warren's clinical foundation was established at John Peter Smith Hospital, where she worked as an anesthetist from 1975 to 1978. In this role, she honed her skills in perioperative care and deepened her understanding of anesthesia practice. Her journey into anesthesia began with formative experiences as a labor and delivery nurse at Baylor University Medical Center from 1962 to 1973. Starting as a dietary aide and advancing through vocational nurse to registered nurse, Ms. Warren's curiosity about the field of anesthesia was sparked by observing nurse anesthetists in action. Encouraged by a mentor who recognized her potential, she pursued specialized training.

Ms. Warren received her pivotal training in anesthesiology at the Charity Hospital School of Anesthesia for Nurses in New Orleans, LA, culminating in 1975. This rigorous program not only prepared her for her credentials as a certified registered nurse anesthetist but also positioned her as a pioneer among underrepresented groups within the profession. She holds certifications as both a certified registered nurse anesthetist and a registered nurse.

Furthering her education, Ms. Warren earned a professional nursing degree from El Centro College in Dallas, TX, in 1970, equipping her with advanced clinical knowledge necessary for complex patient care environments. Subsequently, she obtained a Bachelor of Arts from Ottawa University in Kansas City, Missouri, in 1980, broadening her educational foundation. Additionally, Ms. Warren received a Master of Science in human resource management from Troy University in 1992.
