Ms. Chappell has more than three years of experience with this civil litigation firm and has been licensed to practice law since October 2006. She is licensed in Connecticut and in Massachusetts. Chappell offers clients of the firm dispute resolution options which include both traditional litigation and alternative dispute resolution. She is a certified Collaborative Law Practitioner, and completed Massachusetts Mediation Certification in June 2008. Her daily responsibilities include the general practice of law, drafting and litigation, contract negotiation, client consultation and collaboration with her partners. She attributes her success to her hard work, dedication and the continued support of her family and friends. She became involved in her profession because of a lifelong interest in all aspects of law.

In addition to industry-related training, Ms. Chappell received her JD from the Southern New England School of Law in 2006 and her Bachelor's Degree in Political Science and Government from Framingham State College in 2003. She is a member of the National Scholar's Honor Society, the Pinnacle Non-Traditional Honor Society, the American Bar Association, the Connecticut Bar Association, the Hartford County Bar Association, Connecticut Statewide Legal Services Pro Bono Network and the Massachusetts Bar Association. In five years, Ms. Chappell hopes to focus her practice in the areas of federal law and alternative dispute resolution.
